Since the latest app update the ‘create route’ section is unusable for me. I select the start point near my house and select the the next point about 100yds away and the map automatically moves my start point somewhere else that isn’t a public road and creates a route that isn’t correct. This happens all the time now and wasn’t an issue before. Is anyone else having this problem? [screenshots provided]

My videos recorded on the phone show up in a very good quality. Meanwhile, those from the Hero Black 13 Camera have traces of high compression, they are really bad. Do you have any way to improve this?

I have read all the manuals. I have tried everything, however my edge 1040 does not show automatically strava live segments I have starred on when I approach to them. GPS issue? I don´t think so. Live segments does not run when I am on a course? It is not the problem. I don’t follow courses. I have done all is indicated on strava web and garmin connect web, but no solution yet. Any help? 

The newest route creation change seems backwards. The draw and route tool often appears in a different location than my finger on the screen, and I still can't toggle to manual mode like on the PC tool.The worse change though, is when I'm mapping normally and there's a tagged location, like a restaurant or landmark, I can't just click and keep routing. The tool opens the fly away tab to tell me about the location and I have to click add to route, and hope it's on the path I wanted to travel. If I click on a part of my route that I've already been, I have to choose add point or end here each time. The tool is more cumbersome to use than in the past, and I make routes 4-5 times a week. Is there an easier way? Any chance for an update on the routes again?

I regularly use the create a route function to plan my runs however with this new update (28th august 2025) it does not work properly, when ever i click and drag a line as part of my route where it would be previously very clever and fill in the exact line i had drawn, this new one fails everytime, adding random routes nowhere near where i dragged my finger originally.Thought id better feed this back as would like it to be back as it was ASAP.

I have had a ride unduely flagged almost a week ago and despite my ticket contesting it, nothing is happening. Is there an explanation for this ? My ride includes my best performances on a high trafic segment for which I am now the KOM. I was very happy to manage to beat it three times that day until Strava (or a salty user) flagged it. Mistaking it for a motor vehicle is one thing I can somewhat understand but not leaving users, paying customers and platform contributors without answers.If this is an automatic flag, customer support should treat it in priority, especially for premium users keeping the platform alive.

Hi ThereMy Strava feed does not show who I run with anymore (it always used to).  I have checked and re checked all my privacy settings and contacted Strava numerous times.  Anyone else had this issue?

I'm a premium subscriber. It's weird to me that I can only see Total time, distance and current speed on the dashboard while recording. Is it possible to show other live metrics like Avg and max speeds, and heart rate and stuff?

Hi - my recently bought Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 has issues finding the GPS when I open it pre-run.I've tried resetting the watch completely, giving all permissions to the Strava app, rebooting, clearing the cache, force stop etc, but go through periods of 'error preparing exercise, please try again' on the GPS fix screen when trying to start a run.Sometimes it does work, then other times not despite locations not varying. Not sure if this is a hardware issue but checking to see if others have the same issue...

I appreciate that this has been reported numerous times over the past few years. The answer for the past 2 years has always been “We have passed this onto the relevant developers”. But looking at the “KNOWN ISSUES” there is nothing I can find when searching for “Google” or “Google Fit”.Issue 1I can confirm that the bug is still exactly as earlier reported. I'm trying to figure out where the surface type data comes from for Strava. I know some of it comes from OSM(OpenStreetMaps) and that's referenced here - https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/8471952550669-Route-Terrain, but there seems to be other data being sourced as well.  Old Ferry Rd and Groveland St both show as being paved roads, which is accurate.  When I go to look at Groveland St in OSM there is a surface tag saying that it's asphalt, so that makes sense.But... When I look at Old Ferry Rd, there is no surface tag present.. So how does Strava know that this road is paved???

I recently needed to create a second strava api application because I need API access on two different subdomains, but it's incredibly limited with the Number of athletes allowed to connect being capped at 1. As far as I can tell, nowhere on the 'My API Application' page is there a link to apply for actual API access, which is incredibly frustrating from a developer experience standpoint. Still, I filled out the Strava’s Developer Program form that I received in my email. This was almost a month ago, and I haven't received a response of any kind yet. If I've been denied, that's again frustrating from a DX standpoint--I'm only looking to use a different subdomain on an app that's already been verified. I've seen that you're unable to have multiple sub-domains authorized for a callback URL on the application, but what about for testing locally?I'd love to test version my application on localhost but unfortunately it looks like I have to have an entirely separate application for it and wondering if that is anyway by-passable for local testing. Hello,A while ago my audio notifications stopped working and i don't know why. I've already tried to adjust the following settings:- apps authorization;- uninstalled the app and restarted the phone - reinstall the app- tried and connect with my headphones - adjusted the text to speech settings and the language I have a nothing 3a. I hope that there is a solution other than having to do a factory reset.

For almost 2 months I’ve not been able to create a route on any of my Windows 11 browsers. I deleted cookies, cleared caches and I even set up a new windows user account just for the purpose of using a new browser (with no extension) but all to no avail. Nothing happens anymore when I enter the ‘start’ and ‘end’ postcodes.I’m a paid subscriber but It’s as if Strava no longer recognizes me as a paid subscriber halfway through the subscription.Any advice please?

Recently, the Strava interface changed on the ride screen on my iPhone and now there is a giant “pause” button taking up a good amount of space at the bottom of my screen.  This is bad design. Not only is it taking up unnecessary screen space, the big button can be easily tapped by accident. My last two rides, I have had lots of miles not get properly recorded because I inadvertently had tapped the pause button without knowing it.   And of course, when you click resume and you’re in a different location, then you get those straight lines and not the GPS tracks.   This is just bad design.   Strava Team, if you are reading this, please do something to correct it.  Thank you.
