Hi everyone,I uploaded a cycling activity to Strava using a GPX file exported from Komoot.In Strava’s elevation profile, the segment between 5 km and 20 km appears completely flat (0 m), even though both Komoot and GPX.Studio show a clear climb reaching 130 m in that section.I also couldn’t find the “Correct Elevation” option in the activity menu, and Strava Support couldn’t resolve the issue.Has anyone experienced something similar? Why isn’t there a downhill mountain bike mode yet? We have the tech to decide when someone has been driving but can’t seem to figure out a way to auto pause an activity when they’re driving or on a chairlift? This drives me crazy

When I share my Zwift rides on X or Facebook, I only get the option of 3 different maps, rather than the in-game screenshots which were available previously and which I’ve used in the past. I haven’t changed any settings (as far as I know) so can anyone walk me through how to get this option back please?Thanks in advance. 

In areas such as:Heatmaps My ActivitiesI would like to be able to multi-select activities to see, for example, all run, trail run, hike, walk, snowshoe. Another option would be to allow people to select all foot, bike, snow, water, etc. categories. I think multi-select is the best option because it gives the most flexibility. 

Can we please add a feature that automatically deducts the distance and elevation from your ride when taking a chairlift or shuttle? I realize this may be difficult for shuttling in particular, but the chairlift lines are already showing on Strava, so you should be able to deduct that from your ride. My partner and I are doing a yearly cycling distance challenge, and to keep things legit I have been starting a new activity at the top of the chair and stopping it at the bottom so that the distance rode on the chair isn't included, but it would obviously be much nicer to just start the activity in the morning and stop it when we are done riding and have Strava figure out the non riding sections.

Recently I started to run with Suunto Race S watch. While I quite like this watch, it has one significant for me disadvantage compared to my old Garmin Fenix 7X - support for Strava Live segments.With Garmin Fenix 7X, I can have up 100 segments synced to the watch, and downhill running segments are synced (despite what Strava’s support article claims). Just to be clear, downhill cycling segments are not synced, but downhill running segments are. That is great, because I live in a hilly area with a lot of downhill running segments, especially when that is applied to trail running segments.Now, with Suunto Race S, the number of synced live segments is limited to only 20, and downhill running segments are not synced. I wonder whether these limitation come from Strava or from the device specific implementations? The main problem with the very small number of synced segments is that I pretty much can no longer star segments. Garmin have just informed me that it is Strava that limit the number of starred Live segments that can sync on Garmin devices to 100.. So who’s not telling the truth??

As a longtime fan and frequent user of Strava, I really value the platform and appreciate the continued development. That said, I was surprised by the recent UI changes for subscriber profiles, and I wanted to share my concerns. Orange Gradient on Subscriber Profiles The orange gradient at the top of profiles makes interface elements harder to see—particularly the icons in the top right. The dominant orange color inevitably clashes with user-generated photos in the carousel. The gradient darkens into a muddy brown at the top, which further disrupts visual harmony. A clean, neutral background would better support photo-focused content.   New Shield-Shaped Profile Photos The switch from circular to shield-shaped profile pictures for subscribers feels like an unnecessarily bold change. Infinite saving upon finishing, cant start new run 

help me, why when I want to save my activity, it keeps loading and the save button can't be pressed  

I've noticed recently that on some segments there are some athletes that have two efforts shown, from different years (one example looks like this:  1.A in 2021  2.B in 2021  3.B in 2020  4.A in 2020 ...  9.C in 2021  10.D  11.C in 2018). The rides are not marked different (ride/mtb ride) and the profiles are the same (same url).Anyone knows what this is about?

I’m reaching out because I’m experiencing an issue with the app. After completing my run, I tried to download the transparent photo to share it, but it just keeps loading and never finishes. The image doesn’t appear, and I’m unable to save or share it.I’ve already tried restarting the app and checking my internet connection, but the issue persists.Could you please look into this or let me know if there’s a fix? I’d love to be able to share my run using that feature.Thank you in advance for your help!

Why can't I have the ability to block an individual from seeing my activities without them knowing? I think this should be added when you upload a workout and enable me to block individuals too. 

How can I include my power meter info on my velomobile ride?  It is available on a "ride", but not on a velomobile ride.Thanks for your help!

Hi there. I’ve just noticed that routes on the Android app now have filters for saved routes which is excellent and very welcome. I am only able to see 20 results from a filter search however and they are listed in the order that i created them, most recent first. I can also no longer see a full list of my routes if I have applied no filters, only 20, most recently created first.  Although I am very satisfied with the new filters, I feel that only being able to see 20 results at a time is very limiting. I would rather have a full list of routes with no filters than only being able to see 20. I have unistalled/reinstalled the app and logged out/logged in again.

I’ve tried a number of time to create any route, but keep getting the error message...“Error: Sorry, we couldn’t complete that action. Please try plotting the point again. This can occur when routing across large distances, so try plotting more frequent waypoints that are closer together.” I’m using a laptop to try to do so.

I think this counts as a bug. When I first upload a run, the Athlete Intelligence summary will pick up on any detail I might include in the run title or description. For example, if I mention orienteering it will say something like “challenging orienteering run”.Now, the altimeter on my Garmin watch doesn’t work very well, so I almost always use the “adjust elevation” functionality after uploading. After I do this the Athlete Intelligence refreshes, and invariably loses sight of this detail: the summary will now be more generic. It feels like the activity title and description are not being fed to the AI model the second time round.

I appreciate that Strava lets us mask our home location, but I noticed today that prevents us from showing up in leaderboards. Why? The start of a popular climb is nearby my house - just barely in the zone - but the website says I’m way down the leaderboard because of a very old track (apparently before I configured my home area). But how does a segment near my home inform where I live? How is it different than any other segment? Could you ignore our home area for segments?  

I track all my rides and make use of the commute feature. Therefore 80% of my weekly activities are commutes. I have created a club with my family but they only track their training but not commutes. In the club stats I am always by far the best but that's just because all my commutes count towards that. How can I set up the club, so that commutes are excluded? Makes it a bit more fair if you compare club members.

I have an Igpsport hr40 heart rate monitor, but it won't let me connect it to Strava. I can use it and see data on Wahoo, but not on Strava.

My son is getting old enough to run with me and has a cellular Apple Watch. He does NOT have a phone of any kind. You can’t directly install the Strava app (for some reason) on a watch without a directly sync’d iPhone with primary ownership of the watch. Even though the Watch has cellular data. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I can see and manage his watch with my phone, but it’s not the same as the link my phone has with my Apple watch. He uses the native exercise tracking app on his watch. Is there any method to sync the Apple activity data from his watch to a Strava account? So far I’m not finding a solution to even export it. 

I'm curious to know if this is a known issue, or if there is a resolution to an issue I have observed.  In the heat map, I often see large "gaps" in sections that have been ridden.  It would be useful if the sections were contiguous.  In fact, for some longer tours (such as a cross country tour), the heat map line almost entirely disappears when I zoom out.  I have uploaded two examples of this occurring:
