I think there is an error in your “Athlete Intelligence” script.Today I walked with an elevation of 154m and AI says that that is nearly the double of my typical 30-day elevation gain of 39m. As far as I remember the double of 39 is 78. So that’s not even close 😉   

Please can you roll back the new route planning as it is so rubbish. I want the old one back. It incorrectly categorises roads as off road. Really unhelpful as routes which are totally road come out as 63% unspecified. Using the old version it knew they were road. Please don't launch new versions until they work! Roll it back until it's actually better!!!!!

Hi everyone,Earlier today, I did a normal run. I used the Strava app on Apple Watch. As usual, after arriving home, I went to the Unsynced section in the strava app on the Watch, selected the activity and, by accident, insead of pressing Sync, I pressed Delete. Does anyone know if there is a way of restoring the run?Thanks,Nicolai

I have an active group challenge in which we are attempting a cumulative distance of 2,000 by any activity type. however the challenge doesn’t show cumulative distance? where is this shown or do I have to add the individual totals up myself? And if not, why not? Surely that’s the whole point!

Hi everyone. Is there any hack how to retire an added component to specific date at my bike in the Strava application. Here is the situation, I changed a chain 14 days ago, but I forget to retire the previous one on the day of change. When I want retire the old one, it counts all the kilometers it did not do. thank you

I have a Garmin heart monitor that goes around my chest, and when it's connected to my Garmin bike computer I can see my heart rate. After I finished my ride I saw the heart rate data on Garmin Connect. But when it was transferred over to Strava the heart rate data wasn't there. Does anybody know how I can fix this so I can have the heart rate data on Strava as well?

One app I developed has been approved and is currently live. I now wish to develop another app. In doing so, would it be possible to request an additional client ID? If so, please advise how to request the addition of a client ID.

I use Fenix 6S to record my outdoor rowing. Sometimes it shows up in training log as a row but most times just as 'workout'.  I can't figure out why it does this as I follow exact same steps each time.Screenshot example shows 28Jul 17k row in Blue but 29Jul is also a row but showing small grey dot and no distance.  This happens most of the time and there are plenty more examples.  (11, 12 and 13 Jul are all rows). This makes the training log useless for me. 

I walk, take a bus or train, then restart to walk. I would like Strava to calculate only the part where I walk but I didn’t find a solution except start-finish and then start-finish a second time. And then add the 2 distances, the 2 times,… and how can I handle the average bmp and the rest? I tried using Pause during my bus/train use, but Strava still considers that I walked during the Pause and add the m or km to the total. I don’t want that! 

Hi runners,I cancelled my subscription as my partner suggested we join the family plan. However, when she sends me the invititation, the page reads that i cannot join the plan and need to live in the same country.We are both set to the same city and country in our Strava profiles. Did anybody else encounter this problem? Any solutions? Thank you guys! It somehow feels a bit demotivating to run and not have my premium features.Kind regards,JJ

HelloSince version 428.0.1 of the Strava app on iOS, the power zones graphs are corrupted it looks like Z6-7 is displayed as Z1, Z5 is displayed as Z3…Anybody else experienced this so far? 

I follow my brother and he follows me. He is a subscriber. Recently he posted a screenshot of the map of his last activity, swimming in a lake. I accessed Strava to have a better look of it but HE DOESN’T have any activity! 

I’m trying to plan a circular running route. It works well until the route comes close to the finishing point, when it automatically reroutes to take the shortest distance between the two, undoing all the planning I’ve done. I tried inserting lots of waypoints to force it to stick to the route I want, but it has a mind of its own

My app interface is in Italian. But now when I record an activity instead of Passeggiata mattutina I have Morning walk. All the activities’s titles are in English. 

I’m thinking of moving from a Garmin to an Apple watch ultra.  On my Garmin its pretty easy to sync routes and segments from strava over to Garmin connect, then maps and segments all sync down to my watch and are well integrated  with the watches cycle tracking app.I’m trying to workout how this would work on the apple watch, given the strava watch app doesnt support mapping, I think I need something like Komoot for GPX routes (shared from others on strava).  For live segments I would need the strava app, and there is the native apple workout app. Which of the 3 apps do you use to start/stop etc?How do all these apps wort at the same time?  Can you easily switch between them?Are there other options for cyclists?  All I want to do is be able to follow routes and have live segments are working the same time like on my Garmin.

As stated in the title, every time I save a new activity, a group with myself is created. How to fix? 

I was confused when i finished my running program today, I finished the 13200 program in pace 4:50-5:00, and my stopwatch results was 15:41, while the finish time on Strava was 15:07, DUDE?! This app took 34 seconds off me? Please fix it.

Hi all,We’re encountering an issue with the Strava API where webhook events are not being triggered consistently when a user changes the activity type to “Surfing.”Here are some test cases we’ve observed: No webhook triggered: StandUpPaddling → Surfing ❌ Kayak → Surfing ❌ Canoe → Surfing ❌ Webhook triggered as expected: Swim → Surfing ✅ Kitesurf → Surfing ✅ Sail → Surfing ✅ Windsurf → Surfing ✅   These are the scenarios I’ve tested so far, but there may be others.One detail I’ve noticed is that when receiving webhook updates, the activity type for `Surfing` actually comes through as `WaterSport`. This may be related to the inconsistent behavior.Question:

First of all, I want to appreciate you for making the API publicly accessible. But day to day I face issues, or lack of features, that make integrating with Strava harder. I hope this one is not another thread unanswered (or poorly answered) as with most of the threads I opened so far. Otherwise I'm afraid I'll be forced to just stop contributing. I strongly hope that's not the case.This time is about the webhook events: they do not include the sport type. IMO, this is a key field, mostly for create aspect type.As ourselves, I'm sure there are a lot of people that will need this because their App is just related to a single (or subset of) sport: cycling, running... Not having this field implies a call to the API per event to check whether if the event should be processed or not. This makes the event almost unusable.Hoping for an answer,Thanks.

I’ve been using the api/v3/activities/{id}/streams?keys=time,watts in a web application for roughly 3 years with no problems. This last week, suddenly, the exact same API call seems to be returning data with gaps: not starting with the same timestamp as the .fit file (ie, missing the first 200 or so values) and skipping one or two seconds of power data throughout the stream (ie, like Swiss cheese, full of holes)Is this my problem or Strava??

It’s interesting to see the Best Efforts in an athlete’s profile, however, in some cases the data is corrupted by inclusion of flagged Activities.  For example, here’s some data for an athlete in my local area which shows some rather impressive Best Efforts, such as cycling for 5 miles at 126 mph (!!)… If I click on the links to see the related Activity it shows they have all been flagged (hardly surprising).  Surely Activities that have been flagged in this way should not continue to be included in an athlete’s Best Efforts ?

Good evening,Is it possible to give directions in maps, like turn left in 200 meters? Today i rode a route which contained a few roads which i had to ride more than once. Then it is not possible to see if you have to turn left or right at the end of the road or at a t split when both are part of the route.Thanks, René Kleverwal Netherlands
