Hello,I completed a bike ride of 100.1 km, and when I finished the route, I shortened it by 0.1 km. But when the route updated, it now only shows 55.97 km. I lost half of my ride and I can’t manage to recover it. What should I do? Could we restore the original route? Is this an option available in the paid version?Thank you.Eric.

Hi I was just wondering if there was an endpoint(s) to access data behind the public global heat map?

For some reason, my heart rate and cadence data flatline about two thirds of the way through my runs.  I’m using an Amazfit watch which relays the data to the Zepp app whihc then syncs with Strava.  The data is accurate on the Zepp app but not on Strava.  Has anyone see this happen before? 

I have completed more than 1000 bike rides with Strava in the last few years.  I record them with my Samsung A13 phone.  This has always had reliable GPS that accurately records my rides.  I also record the rides on my watch, which doesn’t have as good GPS accuracy as the phone (it “wobbles” a few metres occasionally), but it has the benefit of recording heartrate.  If I go somewhere new and want to create a couple of new Segments I do it using the Activity as recorded on the phone, as the GPS data is better.  To avoid duplicating the recordings, I usually delete the phone version after a day or so (unless I forgot to tighten my watch-strap which causes the heart-rate to under-read and be meaningless !).  This methodology has worked well for several years.However, for the last 3 rides I notice that all the recordings on my phone show small spikes about every 15 seconds or so (for the whole ride) that make them unsuitable for using as a basis for new Segments.  The watch data

I’m looking to incorporate the Global Heatmap data into recreation and conservation planning efforts in USA.  Is this possible?  Is there someone I could speak with to discuss it?

We successfully created a webhook subscription using our development site (dev.xxxx.com), but we have been unsuccessful subscribing using our production site after we switched the app’s Authorization Callback Domain to production (xxxx.com).When we view the app’s subscriptions, it returns empty.Attempting to create a new subscription from production returns “GET to callback URL does not return 200” which many people have reported here.However, even though we have not changed our Authorization Callback Domain back to dev.xxxx.com, we can still create a subscription from development even though the app settings on the Strava website shows the production url as the callback domain.It seems like the initial URL we created a subscription with is still the one being used for some reason even though the production $callback_url is what we send to Strava..Has anyone else had this issue before? Perhaps there is another place where the URL needs to be

Hello,I've been developing the website www.sherpa-map.com which uses Leaflet to display various map types and allows for routing using a self-hosted Graphhopper service. I would like to incorporate Strava's global heatmap but have been unable to find any documentation or recent examples, I can't even get a simple curl request to go through with a variety of different URL attempts.Is there any documentation? Are there any examples? Any help would be appreciated.Thanks!

I'm creating a mobile app that uses Strava authentication.Because there's a link to create an account below the authentication screen, the app is being asked to include a function to delete the account.Looking at the API documentation, there's no function to create or delete an account, and there's no explanation about this, so I'm thinking it's not possible, but does anyone know anything about it?Apple has asked me to let them know if it's not possible due to the API specifications.https://developers.strava.com/docs/reference/

Receive the option to use a new screen / interface to record an activity this morning. Wanted to share some early feedback. (iPhone app user, UK based.)Positives:Great to see the time & distance on the map screen. No more switching between screens to know how far I’ve travelled while following a route. This is a huge improvement and outweighs all the other items below. Thank you! Good to have an easily visible option to add a route at the start of my ride.Negatives:Strange to see ~20% of the bottom of the screen permanently occupied with a huge Pause button and a Send Beacon Text option. I don’t want to pause while I’m moving. In fact, I definitely don’t want to accidentally pause while I’m trying to use a map feature on the move. Is there any way to make the Pause option only appear when I’m standing still? Or at least make it smaller? Send Beacon Text is a great option but I don’t need to see it permanently. If I ch

I’m getting political club info in my feed (cycle for this politician or that one) and I’d really like an option to block these. I like Strava for data and motivation, not more hate-messaging. There’s enough of that in every other app. 

I had an active streak of 59 weeks. I have uploaded an activity - but the streak did not change to active (having the flame turn to orange).In this support article I read that every activity during a week (starting Monday, ending Sunday) should count towards the streak. I can confirm that all of my activities have been 60 seconds or longer. May I kindly ask if there is a mechanism to request permission for connecting more than 1,000 athletes? Previously, I submitted a request and was approved for a connection limit of 999 athletes. However, this number is still insufficient for our upcoming event.Thank you very much for your consideration and support.

Everything was working fine earlier today. I was able to “like” comments under my posts, but when I tried later I got the message, “Something is wrong, please try later.”I also noticed that after I give Kudos and refresh my app, those kudos have disappeared.I can still comment on posts, but I can’t like any responses.I’ve logged out, reinstalled, etc.  

Why can't I create segments shorter than 500 meters for cycling and shorter than 300 meters for running, even though I have a subscription, when I've seen shorter segments on Strava?For example this running segment is only 280 meters long: https://www.strava.com/segments/19339033

It would be helpful to have the ability to rename routes directly from the My Routes list page.

I know it is a small thing but it is one of those things that is quite annoying about Strava. You know that situation when you finish a run and notice that it is very close to a round number of miles, than you run a bit further to make it e. g. 5 miles. Then it uploads to Strava and shows as 4.99 miles in some parts of the app and 4.9 miles in other parts of the app (e. g. the training calendar). Can Strava stop doing that? 

I have a problem connecting my Samsung watch to Strava, even though I followed the instructions, they don't want to appear on Strava and it keeps saying " There was an error connecting your device. " but my account is connected on the watch. Any help here?

Question: is there a limit to the kudos that you can give? Per hour, per day, etc?  I was scrolling my feed and was giving kudos and at some point I wasn't able to. 

Since about a year, when navigating to the Maps section of the app (on Android), the default view is with “Routes” selected. I only used the Maps to check my saved routes, so every single time I have to disable the list of routes proposed (which are terrible suggestions in my opinion, by the way) which becomes very annoying when trying to follow a route, since the app constantly also reset the view after a few minutes, so that I need to open the saved route again. Can the app at least remember the choice of “Map only” view for the next time I open the Maps tab?Also, when loading a saved route, the default view is 3D, so every time I have to change it back to 2D (after having to wait for the camera to do its movements) since the 3D maps are completely unreadable. Can the app also remember this preference? Or better, can there be an option to completely disable the 3D map view everywhere in the app? That would be fantastic. 

I get it that some people may find this feature useful. But I am on week 488 of the streak and trust me I am not going to skip a week in a foreseeable future, therefore for me this feature is absolutely useless - it only adds clutter and makes it more difficult to access other features that I use very often, for example the Training Log. The Training Log in particular is being pushed further and further down in the UI with every new shiny feature that Strava adds to the app. How many people do actually find the Streak feature useful? Have you done any research? Since there are a lot of features in the "You" tab, how about giving users a bit of control on reordering these features or hiding them? Also, that would give Strava a feedback on which features users do actually prioritize.

After a few years of having a paid subscription, I have reverted to the free option - main reason is that I am getting old and no longer able make use of the additional features of paid model. On returning to the free model, it seems to have lost so much that was there a few years ago. 1) I cannot load up past similar runs so I now have to create my own spreadsheet. 2) I look at the group for my running club and can only  see the top three for each category. I am certain I used to be able to see all 80 to 100 runners in the group. There is no point in just looking at the elite athletes and not being able to see your peers.Also, Strava now seems extremely slow to load but I don’t think this is down to switching to free model as I am sure it was becoming slow with the subscription model (and I am comparing it to other apps on the same computer, same broadband).I am seriously considering abandoning Strava and finding an alternative.

My feed is limited. It runs out. I do not see everyone’s runs, when selecting LATEST ACTIVITIES, and PERSONALISED is no better

I’m a club admin and I was excited when I saw this feature pop up on my phone - Score!  This will be useful!  And then I was disappointed.  The feature says “Get a snapshot of who attended, and use that info to grow your Club.”, but this is very misleading.  Here’s why:It uses as +/- 15 minute window from the event start time to find riders who joined.  That’s a HUGE mistake.  We often have 40+ people show up for rides and always allow 5-minutes grace period before starting, THEN we gather everyone together to provide ride information, THEN we organize into pace groups, etc.  Sometimes we manage this within 15-minutes of the official ride start time (really gathering time).  Sometimes we don’t.  The time window needs to be longer.  Alternatively, you need to let club administrators set the time window.  Or you need us to have a separate publicly listed start time (i.e., what is shown on the event RSVP) and an anticipated start time (e.g., 10 minutes later) that
