Originally my Strava account was created with my Facebook Account - I wanted to change the password, which seemed impossible because I didn't have a password, so I went to disconnect Facebook, then connected my gMail (a different eMail to my Facebook acct), then changed my vanity url (to tr4777), and now when I try to login via Facebook, or also via Google - it looks like my account still exists, but I no longer have my premium Subscription, my entire workout history is completely gone (years and years), and all my friends are back to 0. Would someone please be able to take a look and help? Slightly freaking out but hopeful Strava Support can help? I would be eternally grateful for all help in recovering my entire history and friends. Thanks in advance!

I just bought a Samsung Watch7 and have used it on the water to track/record my distance rowed. Multiple times now, the distance recorded after I finish and save the workout is approx 1/2 of the actual distance. The GPS track/map of the workout is accurate and complete, but the distance does not agree with that track, is off by a factor of 2. (NOT a factor of 1.6! I'm not confusing metric/Imperial units.)

Hoping someone can direct me to solve this issue  Ive logged a walk today and run both are not showing up on my progress but are visible on my activities as people are giving me kudos. ? Is there a issue somewhere? Not a serious issue but its bugging me :-)

I took out a family subscription and invited my daughter and son and law, who live at the same address as me.  However they are being told that they cannot join as they need to live in the same country as me ??  Anyone else had similar issues ? 

I want to download a route to an iPhone for use when offline.  I have done this before on this particular device.  However, now when I go into my Saved Routes, I see the list of routes, but none of them will open when I select them.  Nothing happens when selecting any of the routes.  I can go into record and select a saved route and it opens, but if I'm offline, this won't work.   Any suggestions?

I wear my iPhone in an arm band holder with a see through touch sensitive screen. However with the new interface I can’t hit the pause button through the arm band protective screen. The pause button is lower on the new interface.      Anyone else have this issue? I lose “precious🤓” seconds taking it out of the arm band to hit pause during splits or at the end of a run.  

Why is there such a chaos in Activities timeline? They seem to be ordered haphazardly. Activities from yesterday are much further on the time axis then from, for example, several days ago. It seems not to make any sense.

Hello Strava,I have been creating an app for my running community for my hometown. The purpose of the app is that users can find details on run clubs that are within the city limits and be able to import a reminder on their calendar from the app. I thought it was a fun idea to have them be able to connect to Strava through the app and have their fastest time displayed on the app  for recording and visibility for the user. With my testing, i am getting an error 403: Limit of connected athletes exceeded.  Does anyone have an suggestions of how to make this work? the amount of people who would be using this app would probably be a max of 400 people. 

Hi all,Ever since updating my iPhone to iOS 26 and apple watch to watch OS 26, the Strava app has been crashing every time I tap “Import Activity.” Automatic uploads are working fine. Manual imports via the app cause an instant crash. I’ve already: Restarted my iPhone Reinstalled the Strava app Checked/re-enabled Apple Health permissions Created a support ticket and sent detailed app logs Reached out on both email and Twitter to @StravaSupport (no response yet) Is anyone else facing this issue after the recent iOS update?Any workaround or confirmation if a fix is in progress would be great.Thanks!

Don't you think it would be cool to see who actually created each segment (and to have that person's name displayed on the segment detail page). Strava is about the social connection among users, and this feature would increase that social aspect.A reason to have this feature is that if there is an issue where a segment on a trail/road no longer matches the exact trail/road section due to modification of that trail/road over the years. It would be a lot better if that existing segment could be deleted and then re-made with the updated trail/road. This would allow people to know who the segment creator is and contact them to delete the current segment so an updated one can be created to match the updated trail/road. I do not like the idea of creating a new segment as is (with the old segment still in place), as this would be confusing and not look very good on the map.Another reason to have this feature is if the original segment creator can't be bothered or is no longer

Cannot open app. Splash page with Strava logo shows up then app immediately closes. Have tried clearing cache and data. Uninstalled and reinstalled app. Still crashing. Android error message states there is a bug in the app and it cannot open. Android v12. Strava v424.12

I tried to connect my strava at kiprun of decathlon. But it say that too much people have allready do that, I cant do it because of the kota. If you have seen that or know what to do, I am interested. (Sorry for my english). Thank you

When i want to connect my strava to an other app to transfer my runs from there (app Decathlon)It work but since today 17 august 2025I cant connect bc strava told me that:Strava Error 403: Logged-in athlete limit exceeded This app has exceeded its logged-in athlete limit. If you are developing this app, contact Strava Developer Support to learn how to request an increase in your quota.

I have a bad time in my segment because Strava took my pause time. my activity was uploaded from Garmin Forerunner 955Strava could fix that?This is my activityActivity and this is the segment is  El Triunfo - Entronque Todos Santos

UPDATE FROM STRAVA: We're aware of a technical issue that may impact some Athletes who are trying to create longer routes. Sincere apologies for this issue.  Our Team is working on a fix, and we will update this thread when we have more information. We appreciate your patience. Hi just tried to create a route for tomorrow in the app and it can no longer create routes. Does anyone know how to do this now?

A few runnings activities have conflicting pace information. In the activity summary I see the right information for the pace. When I go to the Share Activity the pace for some runnings are wrong. For instance, I did a 10km with a pace of 7.09 km/h, in the Share Activity it shows 1.59 km/h.I already logout / login, uninstalled / installed and nothing changes. Attached a few pics.

I am using a Garmin Enduro 3.I have selected every second recording on my Garmin.It accurately records my ride duration.Strava pulls the data over, shows every ride to be a lot shorter in duration, which in turn incorrectly shows my average speed to much quicker.Other data, such as elevation gain and distance is pulled over to Strava exactly as shown in Garmin.13/8/25: Garmin bike ride duration: 1 Hr 14 Mins 30 Secs. The same ride on Strava shows as 46 Mins 30 Secs.10/8/25: Garmin bike ride duration: 2 Hr 10 Mins 17 Secs. The same ride on Strava shows as 1 Hr 35 Mins 16 Secs.9/8/25: Garmin bike ride duration: 3 Hr 57 Mins 41 Secs. The same ride on Strava shows as 2 Hr 28 Min 56 Secs.Does anyone have any idea how to fix this????Why is Strava messing up my ride data when the ride was recorded using a Garmin device?Strava is just a 3rd party social platform which should display users activities.I am not using Strava app to record the ride so I don’t understand why they are messing up my r

My rides do not synchronize to my Strava account from my Apple Watch anymore. I can see them in the overview, but nothing happens after using the “importing”-function.Runs and other workout types work as usual. Does anyone has any idea how to fix that? :)

Hey guys, I am trying to create a route, but automatic mode won't let me use one part of the route and offers detour (that does not make sense). Where does the Strava get the info from, there was a closure in that area some months ago, but it is open right now. thanks

I walk and ski.  On the app and website for skiing it shows the descent labelled vertical. On the app and website for walking it shows the steps.  But neither the API nor the JSON I get from the activity end point has this metric.Thoughts?  Where can I get it? DAvid

Hello, I’ve just bought a Decathlon CW500 cardio watch and I’m trying to connect it to my Strava account, but an error message appears saying that there are too many athletes connected and that the quota needs to be increased. Who should I contact? How can I successfully connect the two applications?

I use an indoor exercise bike regularly. Until recently, I added is as a manual activity and could record the distance ridden according to the display on the bike. I now have a Samsung Galaxy watch and installed Strava on it. I record it as an Indoor Ride and the data is synced to Strava correctly. But I cannot find out  how to add the mileage. I tried Strava support but they just sent me to some pointless help pages which I had already tried (and in some cases, the page was actually wrong).Is it possible to add mileage to a Strava Indoor Ride? Thank you.
