Get month activities of all members of a club

Hi,I wanted to create a webpage where all members of our club could see the monthly kilometers/elevation of each member, and a leaderboard too.I can't see where I get with the API, all the riding activities of these members for the current month. Is it possible ?Thanks !

Testing Strava Application Locally

I've seen that you're unable to have multiple sub-domains authorized for a callback URL on the application, but what about for testing locally?I'd love to test version my application on localhost but unfortunately it looks like I have to have an entirely separate application for it and wondering if that is anyway by-passable for local testing. Thank you!

Has the design of the profile page deliberately changed ?

On my profile page there used to be a tab for KOMs/CRs and one for "Top 10s" (actually for positions 2 to 10).  I could then filter the KOMs/CRs to see, for example, just bike rides (my main focus).  However, when I look now there seems to be no way to separate KOMs/CRs and Top 10s (although the page doesn't display any Top 10s) and there is no way to filter out my small number of non-bike KOMs.  Were these deliberate changes ?  Can they please be reversed ?This is what I now see...

I'm extremely new to this but after trying to get anything to work for 3 hours I thought I'd ask here.I'm trying to get activity data for a Python project. Salve a tutti. È da poco che uso questa ottima app. Va tutto bene ma non capisco perché nel valore delle calorie consumate mi da più del doppio di altre app (Health) e quella del cellulare. Uso una cinghia per cardiofrequenzimetro col l'app di Strava... Perché?  TRANSLATION: Hello everyone. I've only been using this great app for a short time. Everything is fine but I don't understand why it gives me more than double the value of calories consumed than other apps (Health) and that of the mobile phone. I use a heart rate monitor strap with the Strava app... Why?

Strava definitions and terms

Not sure where to post this but I have a simple query.I have been a Strava subscriber/member for a year or so. Strava is a hugely popular app with massive user following, and is both intuitive and highly complex.But I cannot find a section on basic terms and definitions.For example, in recording my walks, my main form of exercise, I have found myself confused between "Activities" and "My Routes".In accessing Activities, and when hovering the cursor over that Activity on desktop, the option to "Save Route" is provided.If I want to retain the details of my Activity, it appears that I should not press "Save Route", as this seems to then save the activity to some other previously used route, with stats such as elevation gain, time taken, heart rate, etc saved in accordance with a previously saved route or activity? And the stats for this activity are then lost. Is this correct? This is an essential aspect of Strava and yet I cannot find any help or assistance on this question, nor a simple

Best Efforts

I cannot remove best efforts for all segments from 400m to 10mi.  They are all based on a run which had bad GPS data.  I tried flagging the run but I am not sure if it is flagged currently.  For example, it says my PB for 400m to 2mi is 3 seconds! I am not that quick ! The raw data is from Suunto watch and is accurate in terms of distance and time despite bad GPS data

Calculating TSS

Hi Strava and Strava Users,I can't seem to find the TSS calculated anywhere in my data. I do find that a little bit weird as it is pretty straigth forward calculation so it would be nice to have that included.I have found Strava a Strava TSS Calculator which to me seems like an external tool. Anyone who knows about this tool and its connection with the official Strava application.ThxFinn

Webhook on gear update

Given a user that has more than one gear for a specific sport, when an activity is registered through an external app (i.e. Garmin Conect), it will be imported with the default one, which makes the user update the gear field with the correct one.For example, let's say a cyclist has a mountain bike registered and a road bike. The mountain bike is set as default for cycling. The athlete registers a new activity with the road bike in Garmin Connect, which gets automatically imported into Strava as if it were roden with the mountain bike. After that, then the user logs into Strava and edits the activity to set the road bike instead of MTB as ridden.For a 3rd party application that is listening to the API webhooks, the final picture is that the activity was done with the mountain bike instead of the road bike, which is incorrect. This forces the application to make an additional call for each newly registered activity.Having a Webhook for this kind of activity update is something both Strav

The number of steps displayed is incorrect

HelloI have activities where the number of steps does not match the distance walked.For example, a road is 3.26km long but the number of steps is only 2180 steps. So calculating that my step is 1.5m is very unreasonable. How to fix this problem? Thanks

Why face limitations and remain a paid subscriber??

This limitation on comments is making us go mad, Are you saying 20 comments per 24hrs is the limit?? I am sorry, not done.I had paid for a subscription for features not to face this type of limitation.May I know how to escalate this issue this is bothering me a lot.Thanks

Problem with Strava API Integration in a Google Apps Script Application

Hello,I am currently working on an integration between Google Sheets, Google Apps Script, and the Strava API. My goal is to create an application where I can authorize access to my Strava data as well as that of my friends, and then retrieve this data in separate Google Sheets. Here are the steps I have followed and the problems encountered:Creation of the Strava Application: I created an application in the Strava developer space and obtained the necessary keys (Client ID and Client Secret).Google Apps Script Configuration: I wrote a Google Apps Script to manage OAuth2 authentication with Strava. This script uses the Google Apps Script OAuth2 library and is configured with my Strava Client ID and Client Secret keys. The script is supposed to allow multiple users to authenticate and grant access to their Strava data.Data Retrieval: The script is supposed to retrieve Strava data (activities, performances, etc.) and insert it into a specific Google Sheets for each user. how long does a refresh token last?

I'm storing the refresh token for my session in a database and updating it everytime I update the access token. But the other day, my application was down for 60 hours and I was surprised to see that the refresh token still worked.How long does it last?Doesn't it defeat the whole purpose of having oauth2 in place if the refresh token can be stored this long?

Achivement Headline Cus

During my last activity, I set a PR for both the 1/2 mile and the 1k, as well as a setting my second fastest time for 1 mile. The headline underneath the activity says “Congrats! You have just set your second fastest time in the 1 mile” - can I change this headline to reference my 1k PR instead?

OAuth approval page should confirm the logged in athlete profile

The Strava OAuth approval page doesn't confirm which athlete is being prompted to authorize an app. This is problematic for at least 2 scenarios:Multiple Strava athletes share the same device => one athlete could mistakenly provide API access to another (logged-in) Strava account. This scenario leads to obvious data privacy issues.An athlete has multiple Strava accounts => it is not clear to the athlete which Strava account is being used for the API connection. Again, potential privacy issues due to the wrong data being authorized to the 3rd party app.One simple fix could be to show the profile picture and first name of the logged in Strava account on the OAuth page.

After opening 25 activities on one segment, the route of other athletes not showing up

So I'm checking the strava segement for Hiline climb in Sedona called Orifice .. Today feb 17 2024 there were 21 athlete, and I wanted to see the pictures so I can see if there snow for example on the trail.. after I open 21 activities, then appx on 25th opening their strava route not showing up. So then I wanna check out High on the hog segment, 1st one Aidan Woloszyn activity id https://www.strava.com/activities/10783567934#3194096772199695562  I'm clicking  to open this activity but all I get is a blank map and rotating circle instead of segments - it looks like this:  It looks like you limiting out ability to view more then 25 activities?? THsi is so stupid especially on paid accounts! Also, I cannot comment again, this is so frustrating that you have these limiters enabled..Alex

How long before a newly added trail becomes routable in the route builder?

I recently added a new trail in a local park to OpenStreetMap - the path shows up in the route builder, however, when trying to make a route including it, the router completely bypasses it.
