when creating my account, it asked what types of activities/workouts I record (strength training, stair stepper, etc.). I didn’t realize when creating my profile and connecting to my Garmin that all activities I record on my watch will transfer to my Strava. I only want to use strava for my runs. Is there a way to edit those activities on my profile and delete them all together so that those workouts don’t show at all? Screenshot attached for reference. Thank you :)

My most recent activity shows up on my profile, but is apparently locked so others can’t see it and it says it may not count towards segments and achievements, no red flag present!    Any ideas?

Hello, I want a segment illegaly created on my private property to be suppressed from Strava.I created reports and filed a complaint versus Strava but nothing has been done so far by Strava… Could you please help ?

I’m fairly new to Strava but I did buy a subscription.  I use an IPhone 16 Pro on a Quad Lock when out on my bike.  I’m trying to export a route from Strava to either Apple Maps or Google maps, but the route should be whatever distance and when I export it only gives me directions literally out of my house and round the corner then ends? What am I doing wrong?

I'm in hell. I signed up to Strava thinking it was monthly payments but they have taken a year. I'm within the 14 day period and trying to get a refund. Impossible to speak to a human. The support ticket thing is a joke. I've never encountered such woeful customer service in my 53 years on this planet. Any tips on getting a result? I can't afford to blow £54 on a service I instantly hate.

I tried to link my Fitbit Charge 6 to my Strava account by following the link but it created a new Strava account. So now I have 2 Strava accounts. I can’t access the new one but my activities are loading to that one and not my regular account. I emailed Strava support but just get standardised replies that don’t address my problem. Any advice appreciated 

Hi, I understand my individual activities can be muted to all followers, but would it be possible to mute my activities from individual followers? For example, followers who run don’t necessarily want to see my cycling activities and vice versa. It would be good to have the facility to group followers. Thanks

Why is the customer service irresponsible and unresponsive? It's been 2 days since I submitted my ticket about a refund and still no one from the support team is responding regarding that. I hope the support team can do better. 

Every time I cycle with my Apple Watch, the screen goes into sleep mode even though I have Always On enabled. However, this only happens with Strava, not with Health or Komoot! The Watch stays in the Strava App but goes black and only shows the time ! I want to see my speed live!

Strava should give a way for participants to flag anomalies by other participants in monthly challenges.For example, right now, the top 3 participants in the January 400 minute challenge, have activity times that are greater than if they continuously exercised for 24 hours every day non-stop. In fact the top guy has so far done 121,173 hours in 26 days - I don’t know if this is a Strava error, or ridiculous cheating. However, there is no way to flag this.  

Hi guys,I’m taking part in the Strava January 400 minute challenge. I noticed that the top 10 in the leaderboard have times that on the 26th day that are dubious. The top 3 in the leaderboard have times that are literally impossible, there are not that many hours even if you have exercised continuously for 26 days (26th of January as I write). Unless I’m totally missing something?There seems absolutely no way to report this. This is the first time I’ve ever taken part in a challenge, is this kind of thing common?Anything that can be done?Cheers 

I am curious to know how the majority of the top ten athletes in the July 400 minute challenge have managed to record more hours than there are in the month so far. Do they have a Time Machine or something?

As the person maintaining the library of Strava segments for Zwift, I worked with Zwift HQ and internal Strava contacts to determine a list of 10 segments to turn into Verified segments back in November 2024 (read about that here).There’s a big issue, though. Now that these segments have been deemed “verified”, Strava is using real-world GPS data for the segment elevation, instead of the GPS data Zwift supplies. This is a problem, because Zwift places their segments (even the roads like Alpe du Zwift which are based on real-world roads) elsewhere in the world, to keep virtual from overlapping with IRL.Here’s the list of verified segments.   Since last years updates the heatmap does not include an option for showing not filtered activities. It worked perfectly back then in 2022e.g i want to see all combined heatmap for bike + hike in a mountain for exploring all trailsAnyone knows a solution to this problem?Thanks

As I write, May is just under 550 hours old, yet the entire top 50 on the leaderboard have all supposedly done more than 550 hours exercise, with the top 2 having done over 3000 hours. Is there no sanity checking on what people are logging for challenges (this challenge claims manual activity doesn’t count, so one must assume they have multiple devices logged in simultaneously)?

Hi   I have noticed that when I finish a run my time isn't showing on my activity, I just get distance and pace, but my husband does have his distance pace and time showing,  on my walks the time shows ,  I have my watch set up as distance ,pace, time and heart rate what am trying doing wrong  any help would be appreciated 

I can’t login to my Strava account on the mobile app using my Outlook account. It says error has occurred, try again. I can login using the Safari page and on my laptop (Through sooo much difficulty). It won’t let me login or send a code via email.   

Hi.I calculated that Strava uses the following thresholds for cycling:Zone 1: 59% Zone 2: 78% Zone 3: 87% Zone 4: 97% Zone 5: 100%Who came up with this formula? What is its source? It doesn't look like anything I've seen before.Will different thresholds be used for running? I haven't checked yet.

Climbed Galibier (the other way from today!) back in 2017, enjoyed putting a few notes together on my decidedly less than average ascent of it. I just saw a "Cyclists for {politician}" Group. AWFUL!  Don't we get enough of this garbage everywhere else in our lives? Can't I go to the one place where I can focus on my athletic goals and sports hobby without being inundated with politics!?  For the love of Merckx, STOP!

so far I have always seen the annual kilometers  and with the different bikes, but now nothing in the app. I have the free membership. 

My play store automatically bought subscription for a year and it's price is 1,500 pesos in Philippines. Which is a huge amount of money for a student like me. I need that money. Strava's customer ai service is frustrating to use. I need an urgent answer 

Ive just noticed that Strava has removed a segments that has been in our community for years.For example we used to have a segment called ‘Tactical Nuclear Penguin’. It looks like Strava has deleted it via the new AI you use because it was a double up of a segment. You have deleted the name we want to keep and left the name we dont want to keep (Zig Zag LOG 2).Theres no option to change this or add a second segment. This is ridiculous. especially when someone hasn't created the start and finish of the segment correctly. It only lets me create a private segment which is pointless. Please change this back to how it used to be Strava. its super annoying. WE WANT OUR SEGMENTS BACK.  

How much Time Strava does respond to a subscription refund because I've sent you a refund request email with the terms explained by old support. how long to take the reply, because I was surprised there was no notification and immediately subscribed for a year. too much money was cut from my e-wallet, please help team strava thats money for my school. I need the money
