Why does my apple watch go to home screen while using Strava? Seems to occur while indoors on the treadmill. I start my 5k run then my apple watch returns to home screen and my activity has stopped. I have to open the Strava app again for it to resume. It’s annoying that I’ve lost part of the activity. Auto pause is Off. Can’t rule-out my watch hasn’t glanced the side rails. Any other ideas? Seems to be OK on outdoor runs.Watch is Apple 7.

The issue IS NOT resolved as Strava attempted to claim 1 month ago on another thread, the same problem exists.This is what I’ve found, the heartrate will be maintained on the watch IF you’re on a setting involving distance, for me a bike ride or walk. If I choose Workout, or indoor ride it continually stops recording my heartrate and often just closes the app and sends me back to my home screen (on watch). Sometimes it NEVER regains the heartrate and I need to close the session and reopen another to get it tracking again. Developers, this shouldn’t be difficult. Do your proper testing, ask the right questions of users who are telling you what’s wrong. I’m seeing very little from Strava in response on this!! Not good enough. I’ve been a paid up member for 5yrs now, this problem has been carrying on now for at least 12 months. What am I paying for exactly?Can I get a refund or are you going to start listening and working with your customers?

Sharing my experience with Strava Support… TERRIBLE experience.  I’ve been a user since 2019 and premium since 2020, 5 years of recording thousands of KM in multiple sports. Really enjoyed Strava to see all my data and help me improve - reason why I paid a yearly subscription.  All of a sudden, someone steals my account (no idea how), changed my e-mail and password to his and deletes years of data… I regained access via Facebook but if you want to change the email back to you what happens? You need to provide the hacker’s passowrd - what a surprise!  You would expect, as a PAID user, to have some sort of immediate support, being this urgent and having ALL your personal and payment details in hands of a hacker!  It’s been 5 days, no one replies any ticket. The hacker is sending messages to my friends on Strava threatening to steal their accounts and guess what? Strava doesn’t care.  Now, if I create another ticket

A good feature to add would be able to select multiple shoes on 1 activity and be able to place a marker on the route of where you changed them as I have my Wu, session and cd on separate activities as I want to track the amount of kms I have done in my shoes. This would allow me to track the kms in multiple of shoes in a session while having 1 single activity. 

TITLE - Should say commute but I can’t now edit it.  All my walks on Strava can only be tagged as a commute. This also happens to my rides, but not every time. It’s the only option I am ever given when I set the activity type from being blank to commute.  it’s not possible to edit this after it’s been saved either. I still only get the check box for commute.  I’ve seen others say this is due to a connected device, or another app, setting it. However, I don’t have another device at all (just the iPhone I run Strava on) and don’t use any app that’s connected either.  Any ideas?

It seems the issue is back that plagued route builder for a while a little while back. You can start building a route but after maybe 10-20 waypoints all other waypoints just trigger error messages. This even happens when you discard the incomplete route and start over. It starts working again after a day or so, but that means you never can complete the planning of any real-world route. There must be some overly restrictive configuration for the number of requests that are let through to the back-end. Please fix asap, this renders the route builder broken for everything other than super short routes.

(Desktop) No matter where on the map I click I can’t even begin building a route from anywhere. Every attempt I make at adding waypoints is met with “Error: Sorry, we couldn’t complete that action. Please try plotting the point again. This can occur when routing across large distances, so try plotting more frequent waypoints that are closer together.”

Since the last update, my heart rate date is not being saved. and used to calculate fitness levels, etc. at the end of my ride. My Polar Sense monitor is synced with Strava and shows while I am riding, but at the end of my ride and saved, it does not show in my recorded activity, along with all other aspects.It has always worked just fine, but the last 2 rides after updating the app, it no longer shows.This is using an iPhone 16 with the Strava app.

I understand activities using Myzone cannot sync to Strava. I understand I can connect a myzone device to an activity by selecting the heart rate icon, search for myzone device and connect. Can I do this on the Strava Apple Watch app ? Basically, when an activity has been started I’m not sure if the heart rate displayed is the rate from the myzone strap or just the Apple Watch ?

I've been using Strava for a few years and entered all of my bikes.  Most of them were prior to using Strava so the mileage log starts from that date.  Is there any way to update that with the total mileage ridden prior to the Strava start date?

Runners, and non-power cyclists, have had the option to set custom HR zones for many years now. There seems to be no similar option for cycling power zones. What am I missing?

When using Fenix 7 to log a ride, then ride time becomes shorter in Strava then garmin express. Resulting in lots of wrong data output from Strava. Approx 30% less ride time in Strava. Anyone have a solution/explanation for this??

nothing works. I restarted tboth my watch and my phone. I deleted this app and redownloaded again then I reconnected my watch strava to phone strava. and still 5 or 6 activities are stuck and they are not posted

I have numerous bikes and just recently bought an e bike. I see that when I designate the ride as an ebike ride, I do not get credit towards my yearly riding mileage goal. I don’t want to mess up the segment results because of using an ebike and have no problem listing it as an ebike ride. But I don’t like not getting credit for my yearly mileage and that creates a moral dilema. Do I not list it as an ebike and F-up the segment times, or list it and not get total mileage credit. Strava realizes this is a problem when it sent out notices recently that it intends to increase flagging segments. It would help if I could count all my rides, on all my bikes including my ebike towards my yearly goal and not have to make a choice. I have seen segments that I know the leading time is an ebike over a regular bike and I don’t like it. C’mon Strava, fix this.

I’ve been trying to cancel my Strava Premium subscription for a while now, but I’m completely stuck and would really appreciate some help. My Strava account says my subscription is managed via Google Play and will automatically renew on June 27, 2025. But I’ve checked all my Google accounts, and there’s no Strava subscription anywhere, not in active subscriptions, not in expired ones, not in my Google payments history. Nothing. I’ve also tried: Searching all my inboxes for a Strava or Google Play receipt Cancelling through the Strava website on desktop and incognito, it just redirects me to Google Play, where again, there’s nothing to cancel, Using different browsers on 3 different devices (phone, tablet, computer) same result every time, Reaching out to support multiple times, but I only got a automated reply that didn’t address the problem at all. The renewal is coming up soon, and I

Hi.I ran in a 10k race last night. My official time was 37:01. When I crossed the finish I stopped my Garmin, had a breather for 30 seconds but then accidently started my watch again for a brief second before stopping it and saving the activity.Strava is now showing the elapsed time as 37:31 (so it has obviously taken into account the 'pause' in the activity).This has messed up my splits and records for the the race.Is there any way to delete this 30 second pause and brief restart? I tried cropping the activity but this just takes distance off rather than the 'pause'.I kind of get the feature as you could otherwise run insane times by abusing the pause feature but surely there is a way to edit this?Thanks 

I had my first half marathon today, and I broke PR, but on Strava, it only calculated 21.09 after having tried the “Correct Distance” option. I have seen that this is not an uncommon problem for people missing a 0.1km recording. If there is a way any can help me I would appreciate it! I am trying to at least have a record of my PR

Why is there no discount for pensioners or people on low income.

I was being charge amounting of 4975.59 last May 31 2025. I canceled the subscription in the same day that I was being charge it was not intended to use this app since I barely used it at all I try to submit ticket but no response to it. I canceled May 31 but since it's weekend I decided to wait till Monday but still no response and I submit another ticket and it's says it's solve even it didn't check. At all Pls solve this issue ASAP I canceled the subscription before 14 days pass and request a refund
