I run 10k today, usually getting around 10- 12 kudos. I haven't got any on this one.All settings are the same. Activity isn't muted or anything like that.I asked some friends, noone else can see my run on their feed unless they go directly to my profile click on and look for it.https://strava.app.link/8PHLd1SIPSbAny idea please? 

It seems that everytime i go to log into Strava, I am being asked to log in. Can you please set a cookie and let it last for 365 days? If I dont want to be logged in, I will manually sign out.

I would love a way to tell my friends that I’m planning a ride and see who wants to join me.

Why on earth does Strava choose FOR me whose activities I see and whose I don't see? It's happened several times now where I'm certain I follow certain people but their activities never show up in my feed and other people's activities I see all the time. When I go to the profile of those whose activities I NEVER see I can perfectly clearly see all their activities so they're not hidden. Can Strava please stop putting algorithms on this? If those becomes another Facebook I will lose all interest in this platform.

I ran a race yesterday and it's acting as if it's been muted, when I definitely hasn't. On the other hand my warmup is showing just fine. I've received significantly more kudos on my warmup than the race. Thought it was a one off but the same thing happened to my dad today. TT not showing, warmup showing. It's visible if you go onto profile, but doesn't send to others' feeds. I've seen a few people already on reddit with the same problem, saying it might be a new algorithm which isn't working as it should.

I synced my ride from Samsung Health to Strava, however the data is way off.  The mapped ride looks the same on both apps, there is a difference however of 4 miles between the apps, Strava being the lower, whilst Samsung being correct, the other stats were all wrong as well, such as average and max speed.Samsung health uses my Garmin speed and cadence sensors, which I also have in Garmin connect, however Garmin connect doesn’t sync anything to Strava despite being enable.Does Strava interpret the data differently?  I was at a bike park, so did a few laps in the same area before moving on.  I assumed it would just upload the same data, clearly this is not the case, so I’ve disable sync for now, but would like to understand why it’s so different and if it can be resolved.

Hi Strava team, I’m experiencing an issue with the route creation feature in the Strava app for iOS. When I create a route on my iPhone 13 Pro Max, the lines that represent the route appear jagged and not smoothed, as shown in the attached screenshot. This makes the route look unnatural and less accurate visually. I’m using the latest version of iOS and the most up-to-date version of the Strava app. This problem only occurs when viewing routes directly within the app. Please let me know if this is a known issue or if there’s a workaround. I’d appreciate any help or updates regarding a possible fix. Thanks!  

Strava’s notion that their version of recorded power data is better is just silly.  And it seems to be getting worse.I use this platform as I would a journal of my activities.  And it shouldn’t be subject to interpretation.  Why Strava thinks it knows better than the actual device doing the recording is mystifying.For my ride today, Strava lowered the actual average power by a full ten percent, and normalized power by thirteen percent.They should just abandon this practice, especially for people who are uploading ACTUAL data.

As suggested by the Strava support channel I disabled running power on my Garmin Forerunner 955, attempting to get heart rate instead of watt readings to compare my efforts on a given segment.The power reading is gone now, but the HR is still missing.

Hi,For the past few rides I have noticed that Strava updates my speed every ~10s but in between these updates the speed displays 0. Once the updated speed is shown for a few seconds it goes back to 0 and this cycle continues for the full duration of the ride. A similar issue with distance as well - it gets updated only when the live speed is shown and otherwise remains constant. I have attached some screenshots.From picture 2 to 3 the speed goes from 18.1 to 0. From picture 3 to 4 the speed is displayed as 0 and the distance remains constant at 0.92. In picture 5 the speed is updated to 18.5 and distance to 1.04.Please help out regarding this issue.Thanks!

Hello, I had an incident where I guess I had forgotten to turn off the automatic renewal on a free trial for a membership, and I was charged the full 80$ for the year. In the terms for the membership, it says there is a 14 day period where the membership could be refunded. Just curious, how would I go about getting a refund? I am on an iPhone. 

Hi, I was trying to build a route but I only get dotted lines and no real routes. Is there a problem somewhere? I've treid other browsers as well, but the problem remains.  

When I am in the USA, Strava will show City & State on US-based activities, but when I’m outside the USA it will only show City & Country of a US-based activity.  Many municipality names exist in multiple states.  For example, living in New England, I see activities from “Hopkinton, RI’, “Hopkinton, MA”, and “Hopkinton, NH”, but when traveling outside the country, those activities simply show up as “Hopkinton, USA”, which really is not helpful at all.   When overseas, I would like to see, for example “Hopkinton, RI, USA”.I noticed the same issue exists in Canada, where I see the province name only when I’m in Canada, and when I was in Ireland, I could see the county names only until I left the country.  Whatever the political subdivisions used in a country (e.g., state, province, county), it would be real helpful to see these on activities without having to be physically in that country at that time.

Yesterday, I created 2-3 new segments. Suddenly, I can't create any more. I keep getting an error saying something went wrong and to try again later. Today, the same error still appears. It doesn't matter which workout

Hello,I did a run activity using strava on past 14/o4/2025. I did this activity with my smartwatch (Samsung Galaxy Watch 7) that it had a gps problem. Meanwhile, the gps is ok.Now, I want correct the date of my past activity. I tried with following steps:I exported the activity to a .gpx file. I changed all wrong dates in file to the new date; I deleted the old register on strava; I inserted the new file with new date. After that, the date that is presented is the wrong date. I have received an export of my archived data, and trying to identify my activities based on run type so Race, Workout etc. I can't seem to be able to find this field in activities.csv file.Am I looking in the right place? Is it even available within the extract.

Liebes Strava Team was ist nur los jedes mal hab ich Probleme mit den GPX Dateien auf die Garmin Geräte hochzuladen. Strava Route selber planen und erstellen anschliessend auf Garmin Connet hochladen. Umbekanne Fehler Meldung na gut ich nehme die GPX Datei welche ich bei Strava runtergeladen habe lade diese bei Komoot hoch, lade diese anschliessend bei Komoot runter und füge sie bei Garmin Connet ein siehe da es funktioniert. wieso kriegt ihr das nicht auf die reihe? mittlerweile ein grösserer Fan von Komoot als von Strava.
