Hi everyone,I’m new here and happy to join the Strava community hub !I started running about 10 years ago, back when Strava was just getting started. At the time, I used Nike Run Club and have since built up over 2.200 km of running history that I really don’t want to lose.I’ve linked my Strava and NRC accounts, but unfortunately that only syncs new runs, not the old ones. Since there’s no way to import my historical data directly, I requested my data export from Nike, which provided me with TCX files.The problem : when I upload the TCX files to Strava, the distance and time (the pace too, as a consequence) are often incorrect. I’ve tried a few sample files, and these issues appear consistently.Has anyone else run into this ? If so, did you find a reliable solution or tool to fix it ? Ideally, I’m looking for something that can help me batch-correct hundreds of runs without having to edit them one by one.Thanks in advance. Any help or sugges

I conduct the Kora Cycling Challenge in Nepal since the past 15 years - this year, our challenge got 6200+ riders to ride in about 20 locations in Nepal and also about five locations worldwide - including Vancouver, Sydney, Laos, Scotland and three locations in the US. It is widely popular.Have formed a Club as well only called Kora Challenge - that lists the events on the Mother location - Kathmandu - loops of 50kms, 75kms, 100kms and 165km around the valley - with the last one having a 4000+m altitude gain. Every year, riders do about 300,000 kms in total - about 7.5 times around the earth - in one day.Wanted to work with Strava to make this into a Public Challenge - so that athletes could do their koras anywhere on the globe.This happens on the Third saturday of every July - next one on 18th July 2026. Want to know if this is in any way possible, or is the CLUB my only way to get people to join - btw, already over 1000 a

I thought I’d share about the latest map update.  While on a road ride that I had mapped out, if I’m looking at the map with all the info that is now on the screen at the bottom, it’s very hard to pan in or out without messing everything up.  I would rather have the whole screen showing the map like it was before.  Just allow me to either be looking at the Miles/Heartrate screen or the map, not both at the same time.

When I ride on my remote eastern Nevada ranch where there is off and on phone coverage Strava has challenges keeping track of my riding.  Example, I may start out with GPS and then Strava finds phone service and it switches.  This is an off and on going process while i ride my bike.  Today Strava was off by over 7 miles.  This makes it tough to appreciate my ride and progress.  Any thoughts appreciated.  Thanks. 

My friend bought a family plan using my credit card but I am now I am unable to join even though we are both in India. I was travelling for 3 weeks in the UK last month when my individual subscription expired and now I only see GBP prices and have been unable to join even though I am back and have logged multiple activities here.

Please, could someone help me to understand the chart attached.what does it means the gray and red chart? during the exercise my watch does not measure the heart rate and i think that the gray is the beating during these moments. Is that? 

It seems that after my Export of my Data to Excel, I am getting a huge number for Time (seconds?) and what may be the distance in kilometers (see below).How do I get the Elapsed Time field in hours:minutes:seconds so I can tally and format in Excel?How do I set the DIstance to be in Miles (not what appears to be kilometers) such as 6.75 Miles? How to choose a water sport in Mapa tab in Android application?

Using my web browser, I could log in to my strava account on Friday 21 Feb. However, since Sunday 23 February, I have been unable to log in to my strava account. The log in page keeps refreshing when I click on the log in button, but doesn’t do anything. Please help.

When I want to share a Strava activity, CO2 carbon metrics are shown on all types of rides. Should be shown only when a ride is a commute.

Commute being the only tag for swimming is a daft and long-standing Strava oversight. As per questions and comments dating back two years, commute is the least likely option for a swim, but it's the only option in Android. Surely this is an easy fix?Come on Strava developers - swim to work and get this sorted! 🙏

My last ride was 10 miles and it should only have been four.  Not sure what’s going on but heads up!

Strava fitness score jumps up big % when I go for a long bike ride. Would love to see Pogacar (or other pros) fitness graph right now during the tour.. Please reply Tadej 😉 

Hi, My Fitbit Versa 4 is no longer syncing automatically to Strava after runs. All permissions are on and linked, been like it since start of Jan 2025. The GPS function is also on the watch too. So annoying, was thinking of taking out a subscription too, not gonna happen now! 😂

I upgraded an account I don't use. Can I close the account and transfer the subscription to the account I actually use? Thanks 

Hi I am using Garmin Fenix 7 to track all my rides. Most of them are training sessions for road and MTB cycling. Some of them are commuting rides. I have 4 gears logged in Strava and each gear is supposed to be for a different "sport". I would like to set Commute ride as default for specific gear. Because in Garmin I have an option Bike commute, but after recording in Strava it's just a normal ride with different gear than supposed to be.I would like to make my gear related just to commute ride. Do you know if its possible?I am feeling like I already tried everything and in default sports there is no option with Commute.Thank you very much.

Hi Strava team and community,I’m reaching out with a question and suggestion regarding e-MTB ride classifications.As an owner of a Class 1 e-MTB, I’ve noticed that performance comparisons and segment rankings feel a bit skewed. Class 1 bikes (pedal assist only, up to 20 mph) simply don’t have the same capabilities as Class 2, 3, or 4 e-MTBs, which can include throttle assist and higher speed limits.Because of this, riders on higher-class e-MTBs naturally have an advantage on speed-based segments. It would be much more equitable—and encouraging—for those of us on Class 1 e-MTBs to have separate leaderboards or filtered comparisons based on bike class.Is Strava considering breaking out the different e-MTB classifications in activities and rankings? It would really help level the playing field and create a more fair and meaningful experience for all types of e-MTB riders.Thanks for all the great work

I'd like to request a refund for a subscription that was automatically deducted from my account.

I recently opened a chat about my best efforts not updating on runs. I’ve tried to refresh segments, change activity from ride back to run and also used the “correct distance” but nothing is working. I,ve attached a picture of my activity as an example. Even though there is barely a minute in the time, it should still show as a Best Effort. Also today I did a 10 km run and it said I did a PR but it was slower than my last 10km. It was my longest run but that isn’t showing in my best efforts. I know some comments have said that elapsed time is considered with PRs?? Even taking that into consideration, my best efforts times don’t reflect that and I’m sure that when it says you’ve done a PR then in fact, that should be your best time. How can you effectively train to get better if the times/PRs are wrong. Frustrated with Strava...it’s my no 1 training tool and I don’t feel like any of the times are accurate!

Currently, when I enter Strava via an app notification, I then see a notification badge / counter on the Notification Centre icon. This is actually the same notification that I’ve just clicked into, but it’s not marked as read.Ideally, this notification would be marked as read as I’ve clicked into it. It would stop me having to actively click into the Strava Notification Centre just to mark notifications as read.

Every time I open the app the UI design gets worse and worse. Please can they stop complicating it.Also what is up with these new shield icons - it’s actually terrible. 

I just finished a mountain bike ride at a bike park.First I wish Strava had a bike park option so ot didn't record the lift time.  They do for skiing why not MTB's?So this Athlete Intelligence tells me about my epic day and setting records on my climbs. Hey Strava bros. Your AI isn't very intelligent if it can't tell the difference between a bicycle and gondola. Please stop wasting the precious little engineering time on this AI crap and spend it on improving the app. Like maybe giving us MTB bike park as an activity option. 

I don’t know if I am posting in the right place to get help. I used my Strava today for a bike ride and I noticed Strava added a big orange pause button. I’ve seen an issue happen before with the MapMyRide app on my phone when they used  to have a big orange pause button. I ended up with a big button burned on my phone glass. My phone wasn’t even a year old when it happen. I think it mostly happens from the reflection of the sun hitting the colored button and then reflecting on the glass when riding for prolonged periods of time. MapMyRide switched to a black and smaller button and I never saw an issue with it again but, the old larger button is still burned on my old screen. Please look into what I am saying and do something about it if you see what I am saying could happen. I would hate for everyone to get a BIG pause button burned into their phone glass. I am trying to help prevent that from happening by bring it to Strava’s attention. 

I‘ve tracked more than 500 rides with my Wahoo Elemnt Bolt and synced them on Strava. I noticed that some activities I tracked long time ago are not displayed anymore in the Strava activity section. I did not delete them. Whereas all rides are still counted in the personal statistics, the number of total kilometers is incorrect. ~4000 km are missing. My aim is to restore the complete track record.I could add rides summing up 4000 km manually in order to correct total kilometers, however the problem is not the number of rides (which is correct) but the missing kilometers.  Does anyone have an idea what causes this issue and knows how it can be resolved?
