Hi still not able to upload a triathlon I competed in on 2nd June .. every thing since then Is fine .. swims runs and rides .. as previously stated I have tried all the common fixes to no avail .. any thoughts ideas please ?? Obviously it's not a disaster but like to keep tabs on myself regards Stu . 

I’ve been training consistently for a couple of years now. Over the last few months, my Relative Efforts have decreased significantly, even though I am training at about the same level, both in terms of duration and intensity of workouts in any given week. As an example, long runs in January/February were about RE 90, whereas now in July they are RE 40-50 at a similar pace and heart rate on the same routes. At the same time, my Fitness score is steadily decreasing. From 75 in early March, it’s decreased week on week to 35 today. Again, I am training at about the same level as I always have. Last week, for example, I did hard intervals, strength & conditioning and a couple of long runs. My training is varied and no week looks exactly the same as another. In the middle of this “decline”, I got significant 5k and 10k personal bests in May/June, after achieving a half marathon best in March. My treadmill runs do not reliably create the transparent overlay share image. It is always hit or miss. I am using a Garmin Epix G2Pixel Pro 9 XLI have tried attaching photos, and changing pretty much every option of the saved workout but it doesnt create the transparent image. 

I've been requesting a refund for about 7 days now and no developer responded to my ticket?, and the bad part is when i check my ticket in strava it's says "Status: Solved" howw? i didn't even get an refund? and strava support didn't explain how my ticket status is solved?. 

Hi all, here's my situation:I'm going on a week long hiking trip in Swedish Lapland. During the week, I will have very limited and unreliable internet access, meaning I probably won’t be able to synch my activities. Also, when not hiking I'll be turning off my phone to save its battery. This probably comes down to recording my hike every day, not being able to upload because of no internet, then turning off the phone. The process repeats for six days. Will Strava be able to save the six activities offline, locally on my phone, even if I turn it off repeatedly, and then synch all activities once I do have proper internet at the end of the week?

Recording defaults the map to track your direction, except due to natural GPS variations it is gimbling all over the place. Yes I can press the compass, but it refuses to stay on North. Every pause, by me or autopause dismisses my North preference and swings the map around again. Bad now, but in winter with gloves on this would be supremely annoying.Then we have Live Segment tracking. The dismiss button is gone. So if I am approaching two start points close together I can't dismiss segment A to show segment B. And then when tracking starts the head to head vs PB/KQOM does not pop, I have to press the screen again after the segment starts, very annoying if I am sprinting for a short segment. And the segment name is in black in red, making it hard to read.The screen should not be ‘needy,’ I should not have to be pressing it so much to keep it in the orientation I want. Please revert or return these features. Design changes should not be removing functionality. 

I did several climb segments on dead-end asphalt roads yesterday on a 7kg-ish road bike and noted that my times were beaten by riders who had continued past the end of the metalled road and on to mountain trails. These folk were obviously not on road bikes because of the terrain they encountered later in their rides and I can’t believe many people would be able to ride an unassisted MTB up a climb as fast as a lightweight road bike. What else did these segment times have in common? They had no HR or power data. I’m not necessarily in favour of disallowing rides without power data as many can’t warrant the cost of buying a power meter but surely HR data should be a minimum requirement of a segment time? I’m 63-years old and if I get a top ten time on a hilly segment I’m pretty happy with myself as it normally means an all-out effort. It can be pretty demoralising to discover that many of the times above mine have been gained with motor assistance. 

Within the last one or two months flybys is behaving oddly.  Yes, I know how to turn it on. When I enter flybys, it looks normal, everybody and their nice colored bubble.  Click “all” to check them all off and start, and the bubbles disappear.  It shows me colored tracks, but the bubbles all pop and are gone.  Same if I check flyby locations.  Thoughts?  Clearly Strava has the data.  Beyond that, I’ve tried multiple browsers, cleared cache, checked version of app on phone.  All good, still bad.  Garmin Edge 130.  As usual, Google is garbage and comes up with a million hits intermixed from 2020 to god-knows-when and has no idea about how to find current reports of issues.  Any help would be appreciated.  

I miss the old Strava feature that let us download a shareable image of our activity — you know, the one with the map on top and stats (distance, time, elevation) at the bottom? It was perfect for posting on social. Any chance it’s coming back?

Hi, is it possible to use manual mode when plotting a route in the iPhone app like you can using the website?  

It appears that there’s been a recent change which applies auto-pause to kayaking, but I suspect it uses cycling parameters, which are not appropriate for kayaks (which move more slowly than bikes). I record my kayaking outings on my iPhone. In my most recent kayak outings, Strava auto-pauses almost immediately and then never unpauses. I’ve used Strava for years and this never happened until now.My settings: I have auto pause enabled for cycling, but turned off for running. There doesn’t seem to be a way to control auto-pause for other sports. 

I am trying to create a route on desktop (windows 64bit, Chrome) and the map is just blank and I cannot interact. Bug? 

I'm new to this site so apologies in advance if I'm unfamiliar with itI have regular bike and e-bikes. I want both to count towards my annual goals (time and distance). I've been Googling for whether e-bike rides count, most replies suggest they do count, but clear from my total they don't (I can simply change an activity from Ride to E-Bike ride and see the totals change for YTD).How do I get it to count everything short of calling everything a Ride (which messes up lots of other things)?

I ride MTB, E-MTB, road and trainer and the e-bike rides don't get included in my goals.Just had a look at goal setting area and all Strava need to do is include is E-Bike and E-Mountain Bike Ride in All Ride and problem solved.

Hi - Is there a way to view previous year's stats to compare with current? So for example, I might want to compare my rides over the last few years to see how many miles or climbing etc, that I've done in each year to monitor how I'm doing this year. All I can see is the current year and all time details.

I think everyone would agree an hour of riding on the trainer can be exercise just as much as an hour on the road, but it is omitted from the hours for the week displayed on the profile web page.This is a bug.

This sunday I ran a 100K with my friend. He has a garmin and when he uploads his files he taggs me and I accept, then strava takes over and I also get the activity, however this activity can not be accepted for some reason. We tried declining and inviting again but it does not work also not on my mobile phone.

The activity overview page has no pace showing, only if you click into the activity to see all the data.Is it because I uploaded the merged file of Strava file and iWatch file (by goatees.com)? Does anyone know how to solve it? Thanks! 

I've made a shortcut with the Apple shortcut app to immediately start a new recording with the action button (Using the URL scheme "strava://record/new/start")Since about a week or two when I use this shortcut Strava crashes most of the time.Sometimes it does work (can't really tell why) but most of the time it doesn't.Please fix this.

hi, i am doing a challenge in a few weeks of running 5km on the hour, every hour for 12 hours. How would i track this on an apple watch/ strava so that at the end of the challenge, the total 60km and the pace of the runs would show as one 60km run 

Did something recently change with how KOMs are recorded with regards to ties?  I have a segment I tied for the KOM back in June of 2023.  I checked my KOM list just a couple weeks ago (July 9, 2025) and it was listed on my profile page in my KOM list.  I just checked today and it is not listed there.  I checked the activity and it shows that all is good including another KOM I got that day.  It still lists that segment as me getting the KOM (even with it being tied with the existing KOM).  I checked the segment details and it shows both of us with the same time.  I know that originally, Strava only counted the first person to get a time as the KOM, but that changed a couple years ago.  Did something change back in just the last couple of weeks or is this just a glitch?  I have included links to the segment and my activity below for reference.  I did refresh the activity achievements as well to see if that would fix anything but no change.TOA Antenna Hill | Strava Ride Segment in Ancho

I used to be able to see my average pace for the whole run during the run. Now it only shows me average pace for the current split, which is pretty useless for a longer run when I want to make sure I’m on target for my goal. I used to be able to check every km or so and make sure I was on track for my target pace, now there is no such way to stay on schedule. It used to be that it would switch to average split pace during a subscription, but now it’s there all the time. Please can we have a toggle to switch between? Or a solution!

I created a new 1km segment for the bottom of the hill from my activity. It’s fairly straight and simple. My activity is only a partial match of the segment, with no other info given.The segment starts a little ways up the trail from the road where I start, and each lap I ran well past the end of the segment.How can an activity not match the segment when the segment was created FROM that activity gps data? Thanks for any insight! I searched but haven’t come across this issue yet. There were many other matches and a full leader board but not the activity it was made from.

Ich habe gestern über Garmin eine Aktivität aufgezeichnet. Diese wurde von Garmin unter einem falschen Datum (eine Woche vorher) gespeichert und entsprechend falsch mit Strava synchronisiert. Bei Garmin kann ich das Datum nachträglich ändern - aber weder wird die Änderung mit Strava synchronisiert, noch lässt sie sich in der App oder Strava.com manuell ändern. Wie könnte man das korrigieren?Translation: I recorded an activity yesterday with Garmin. Garmin saved it under the wrong date (a week ago) and synced it incorrectly with Strava. I can change the date with Garmin afterward, but the change isn't synced with Strava, nor can I manually change it in the app or Strava.com. How can I fix this?
