 Why?Goal is not accounting for all types of rides? Why?

If a segment includes an out and back, how close to the turn around do I need to get for it to count?  For example, the segment includes offshoot dead end road that is ridden out and back as part of the segment.  What’s the tolerance for that segment to count or be rejected?

Apparently streaks has been live on the app for two or three days now but even though my app is updated I can’t find them anywhere. I checked under the progress tab as well as other areas. Anyone else not seeing streaks?!

Hello, for some time i see only clean maps and it annoys me because i want to understand more when i look on route of others.Tnk.

This week (Nov 3rd - Nov 9th 2025) I had three activities of running. First on Nov 4th, 2025 12.12km and 1.01km and the third one is on Nov 7th, 2025 13.13km. In my profile activities appear the total mileage is 26.26km, but in my club’s leaderboard it only appears my 1.01km of running. Could anyone help me to overcome this problem? I’m afraid that next week will happen again like that. Thank you

I completed a Bike and Run multisport activity using the apple fitness app. After uploading to Strava it is shown as one continuous activity. I know other smart watches upload as separate activities and would be nice if it was the same with apple fitness as you do not see any segments or average speed data for the individual sports and the transition is not accounted for either .  

I am an athlete who has always used leaderboards as a motivational tool.As I get older, I have focused more on the age-related boards. Having crossed the age boundary into 55+, all the hills that I target are heavily populated by mis-categorised ebike rides. I appreciate that the AI tool is looking for obvious cheats/mistakes, perhaps a KOM in a car.For the E-bike problem I see, I suspect it is largely about more casual riders and ignorance of the rules. I see consistent patterns in the data: Low athlete activity levels, recorded on a phone, no HR/power data, cups on hills (but no other segments) slow times on all key metrics 5k, 10k, etc. My suggestion is that you set a performance threshold and automatically recategorise all rides that meet it. For example, given the E-bike issue (in Europe maybe not the US) is largely around hills, it would be simple to set a transparent rule that if you acheive, say, a VAM of over 1,000 on a segement and you don

Since around 18 September 2025 I’ve noticed a drastic decrease in Relative Effort calculation.This leads to my Fitness & Freshness graph saying I’m much fresher than reality and it will also go down significantly week after week.I’ve seen the recent HR zones update and I barely changed my zones, so that shouldn’t be the reason.Any idea how it’s possible? Hi All and Strava I know there used to be an association between Strava and parkrun. But regardless of the reason for that ending parkrun is a great force for good and encourages people to exercise. My feature request is to have a runtype category of 'parkrun' much like there is one for 'race'  

estimated average power and energy output is not visible in my strava accoun for my cycling activity. What to be done?

I dislike this new share pop up as I can't use the scrolling screenshot to include the temperature. I see many people also dislike this popup.  I personally don't like popups at all. If I want to use the share button,. I will click on it. 

I mean, it just feels weird when you swam 2K and you see you've "made no effort" there 😆

After riding for 3 days for a solo ride of 800km I finally combined the 3 rides into one using the Fit Files Combine tool before uploading to Strava. To my disappointment the ride never got added to my club leaderboard. I let that slide but now it is still not counting as my longest ride yet. My longest ride is still at 525 km which is definitely 3 years ago. Here is the ride that won't count as a longest ride https://www.strava.com/activities/10086632519I need help to make these work.

I just completed my first half marathon yesterday and had my Strava running and the RaceJoy app for tracking my bib. Strava had me at a full mile longer than my bib tracked. It was a certified course as a  Boston Qualfier (which is not me lol) so the course had to be accurate. Any ideas why my Strava was so far off and how to fix those stats? I don’t want a 14.17 mile run in there. Thanks!

Why does my watch brand/model not show up on my activities like everyone else on my feed? I have a Garmin Instinct E

Within the last one or two months flybys is behaving oddly.  Yes, I know how to turn it on. When I enter flybys, it looks normal, everybody and their nice colored bubble.  Click “all” to check them all off and start, and the bubbles disappear.  It shows me colored tracks, but the bubbles all pop and are gone.  Same if I check flyby locations.  Thoughts?  Clearly Strava has the data.  Beyond that, I’ve tried multiple browsers, cleared cache, checked version of app on phone.  All good, still bad.  Garmin Edge 130.  As usual, Google is garbage and comes up with a million hits intermixed from 2020 to god-knows-when and has no idea about how to find current reports of issues.  Any help would be appreciated.  

Hi please see image attached share snapshot no longer available on all recent activities. Ive chceked settings and all seems correct.When i share old activities the snapshot comes up! Anybody know why?  

Unless I’m doing something wrong it seems like I can’t access any routes downloaded for offline use unless I have a cellular/wifi connection. Which obviously renders the offline feature completely useless if true.Create route, mark as “Offline” Force quit app. Disable cellular data and wifi on phone Open Strava, navigate to saved routes. I get a “something went wrong error” at the top of the screen, but any routes marked for Offline use display below. Unfortunately, tapping any of the routes or “start route” button does nothing.Can anyone else confirm this is how it works for them? I’m hoping I’m doing something wrong but it looks like offline maps don’t really work offline at all.  

I’m trying to edit a new route and most (but not all) actions I try result in: “Error: Sorry, we couldn’t complete that action. Please try plotting the point again. This can occur when routing across large distances, so try plotting more frequent waypoints that are closer together.” I’m only creating or dragging points a few blocks apart. This also happens when I try to delete a waypoint. The entire route is only 1-2 miles long. Looks like an API error, but status.strava.com says all is operational. Again, this is sporadic, but not a result of 100% of my actions. edit: every action seems to be trying to calculate the resulting action from a point WAY far away. I’m in Oakland and editing a route in SF, but the calculation point is far to the west beyond both (see attachment). I even started a new route since the initial report, and this started in halfway through. Very frustrating to have basic route creating be this broken. edit 2: the route

Why are some of my weight training activities coded as a “Workout” in my Training Log? I save them all as strength training in my watch. It would be nice to have all weight training activities listed as weight training activities in my Training Log.

Hi there, I’ve checked the gear list and adding a component doesn’t include ‘sealant add’ or ‘sealant topup’. What’s the best way to track how much life I have left in my sealant inside Strava?

I am not a fan of the most recent (July 2025) app update ("upgrade") to the maps feature. My map is no longer defaulted to "North up", and I cannot figure out how to get the map to always display in "North up" my default. Anyone know if/where that setting is?
