I see that my Elapsed time for my run is greater than the length of each activity streams, which I was not expecting.The activity streams are about the same length as the Moving time of the run, though there are elements in the ‘moving’ stream that have ‘False’ values (not moving). I think my understanding of what event streams are and how they are recorded are a bit off. Would someone be able to explain this? Thank you.

I have already downloaded my achieve from settings of my account. But most of the activities are gpx files. I know I can export original activities into fit files, but it is tedious to do this.Is there a simpler and quicker way?

Hi everyone,After a cycle ride, I used to see a map and the segments by tapping on the map (Android Strava).This feature access appears to have been removed?Where can I see both the map (which segment) and the segment summaries now?Even on a PC, the map dispappears as you scroll down - not useful.Thx

Hello, The Strava website provides a convenient way to get the .tcx files of a specific activity:https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216918437-Exporting-your-Data-and-Bulk-Export#h_01GDP2C5E3278KM8MPK5X49ED3This is a little-known trick, however, it's simple to use.  Simply add "/export_tcx" - without quotes - to the end of your activity page URL. For example, if your activity page is www.strava.com/activities/2865391236 - just add the text to give you  www.strava.com/activities/2865391236/export_tcx and hit enter. This will download a TCX version of your file to the location specified by your browser's preferences Is there a way to achieve this with the API? I can get .tcx file for routes but not for activities.Than

This has happened to me several times when I've tried to import a GPX file to create a route on Strava. I have been making GPX files using FatMap because its the easiest editing software I've found so far. I get the track looking perfect on FatMap. I then import the GPX file to Strava, but I've found that parts of the GPX track snap to a nearby trail or road when they aren't supposed to and I can't figure out how to correct that part of the route. I've tried adding extra data points in FatMap to no avail. I've tried turning on manual mode before importing the file, which didn't change anything. I've tried adding manual waypoints in Strava, but all that seems to do is hopelessly mess up the track. What am I doing wrong?Update: I created a route from scratch using nothing but manual points in FatMap and Strava still altered it and snapped parts to the trail when I imported it into Strava. The activity filter shows options for 1 year at a time. Selecting one of them only shows the recent month. You can see in the screenshot, it is showing data for a 5 days when the filter is selected for an entire year i.e, Jan 2024 > Jan 2025. 

I noticed a change in the Strava IOS app this week.   When I finish an activity and open Strava the activity automatically opens for editing.   Previously Strava would open to my feed and I could choose to edit the activity if I desired.   Now I need to close the activity to see my feed. Is this a new “feature” of the app.    If so, how do I disable it so my feed opens normally? 

I’ve been using Strava to record weight training, workout, yoga, etc., using a Polar HRM. My weight is set in my profile. I do see the HR during the activity. The activity record shows a average and max HR, as well as a HR profile vs time, but no calories. I’ve used the Polar HRM through the summer on bike rides with no issues (calories shown - but getting data from Wahoo Element).I did search community for other posts regarding this. Saw similar question from 5 or 6 months ago that said bug was fixed. I do have the latest version of the app on my iPhone as far as I can tell. Thanks!

Estou tendo problemas para abrir o mapa do Strava. Todas vezes que abro o mapa para ver algum segmento o app fica travando Translation: I'm having trouble opening the Strava map. Every time I open the map to view a segment the app crashes.

I had an issue with my watch syncing with my phone/the app for the past couple of months, and now am trying to port all of my activities over. I’ve uploaded the majority of them, but now with only 6 left to go, it’s giving me an error message saying “You've exceeded the maximum number of uploads. Please try again later.” According to the chat bot, the only limit is that you can’t upload more than 15 at a given time, but there’s no limit to how many you can upload in a given day… Based on this recurring error message though, I’m not so sure.Does anyone know how long I have to wait to upload the rest? Or if there’s anything else I need to do?

Just some general feedback- I'm sure many love the increased monthly walk challenge- I see it bumped up from 30k to 50k starting in 2025. Unfortunately, as a busy pregnant mom of a toddler I'm finding this change to have really hurt my momentum. The 30k was perfect for me to get in each month, it was challenging to hit, and kept me motivated to try and get steps in each month because some health issues have prevented me from running pregnant. The 50k goal is just not going to be attainable for someone who was not always able to make the 30k goal. I wish Strava had not removed the 30k option- it was a good distance. Why not have both? I really miss having this- it kept me engaged all thru my first pregnancy. :(

I am fairly new to Strava but have no problems with previous runs automatically syncing to Strava. My run from last night is no where to be found but my post stretch workout synced no problem. I have gone through the steps of logging out and back in, turning off my phone, reconnecting my Apple Watch to Strava and still nothing appears 

Is the flag feature functional for e-bike activities. Am I wasting my time trying to clean up e-bike leaderboards?

Since the past couple of weeks when I click on the map of an activity, I see the GPS track but the background map is just about empty. I used to get a proper map with paths, roads etc. that I could zoom in and out. What's supposed to pass as a map now is pretty useless. Anyone have an idea what changed?

I’m unable to see certain friends’ 2025 YTD data in both the iOS app and the web browser. If I choose previous years from the pulldown on the web app, the data is available, but not 2025. Here’s a screenshot from the web app with my friend’s missing data on the left. I can see his daily activities, just not his YTD stats  

I just realized that although you can opt for “Trail Run” as an activity type before you record in Strava, there doesn’t seem to be any way to retroactively change a regular run to a trail run using the “Edit Activity” feature. All my activities are automatically created by my Garmin, which logs them as regular runs. Is there a workaround so that I can save them as trail runs (and, ideally, change some of the archived runs, when appropriate)?

Went for a short distance swim together with a friend and realised that the same distance was logged differently. Any ideas what might be the issue? 

I've entered weight, entered all My Gear information, chosen Ride as activity but still not showing calories burned, why? 

I saw on the 5k runner that Strava has “exited” South Korea. No official announcement? What does this mean for users and of course, our oh so recently increased subscriber fees?

I have been sharing my runs with a landscape image overlaid with my run data. However, recently Strava now crops the image to long 16:9 portrait image, irrespective of the original image format. I have not changed how I share, both by directly sharing to the social media platform or by saving as an image.So when I am about to share, all looks ok like this; Then when I actually share to any platform or hit ‘more’ and save image, it comes out like this; Is there a new setting somewhere? If anyone can share any light on this, it would be great as it is really bothering me now. If relevant, I am using an iPhone. thanks.

I accidentally entered the wrong date of birth on the strava app, and I am now unable to use messages or allow access to use heart rate data. It won’t let me change it on the app and returns with “Something went wrong” and displays “This change is not allowed” on web.
