Why Strava stoped syncing with Bryton and Suunto? How can I fix it? Reinstalling and reconnecting doesn't help.

Is there any way to set an annual cycling distance target which does not include the virtual kilometres (in my case from Zwift)?  I like to track my outside distance, not the amount of spinning I do in my cellar, but can’t seem to separate the two.  Surely a basic requirement?

I am trying to create a training plan for my next (first!) marathon, that takes place in Copenhagen May 11th.But it seems like I can only create a plan for 12 weeks….!! Does anyone know if that is the only option for a marathon plan? It would be really nice if Strava could provide a plan for a longer period, e.g. 16 or 20 weeks. It seems really odd that everyone should be able to train to a marathon in 12 weeks, regardless your age, fitness level, weight etc.

This is a workout I’ve just done. 1 hour of weights, 10 minute run, 10 minute row, 50 minutes exercise bike. The x-axis is meaningless. It should be time based, not distance based. 

I am building a personal project to consolidate all my location data, and so am building an API consumer to fetch all my activities and their time/latlng streams. I am over-engineering in case friends want to use it (and because it’s fun).It seems I could paginate explicitly with page or date-based with before. I see in the forum history, here, that there was a period when page didn’t work, but that it’s now reliable. Aesthetically, I prefer the date-based “cursor” approach.Is there any guidance on which is preferred and/or future-proof?

I am very lucky and grateful to live in a state with so many mountain bike trails available. I recently started volunteering for a bike oriented group in my state and went to an event they put on here in Michigan. My husband and I helped close the event at the end of the day and just that part involved lots of work. I don't know that many people actually realize how much work goes on before, during and after for sports related events whether they be free or pay for. So many people volunteer their time and energy into creating these events. Also a great deal of time goes into trail maintenance for things like daily use all the way to pay for events. In general this work is completed by volunteers. It seems like it would be worth trying to give these people the opportunity to get recognized for their time volunteering. It's not for bragging, in my opinion, it would be for well deserved recognition and appreciation by those who get to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

Hi, I recently learnt from my wife that Strava shows the following pop-up which allows her to quickly edit her latest activity, which is a feature I've been longing for for ages, as I've multiple bikes that I need to update my every single activity to ensure I chose the right one.However, this pop-up is not showing for me. We're both using iOS, though she's using iOS17 while I'm using iOS18. I don't think that matters though. I can't seem to find any setting in Strava for this though, nor find any feature announcement from Strava on this. Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks in advance! 

I noticed when an image is uploaded to an activity via the Edit Activity, that it doesn’t trigger an Update webhook event - is this behaviour expected? Could it be enhanced to include it?

Hi All,I normally run with a friend who doesn’t take their phone/watch so after we run I use the ‘Add Others’ function when viewing the run summary so they can add the run to their profile.Recently the ‘Add Others’ function has disappeared and I don’t know how to get it back.Has anyone else experienced this? And if so can you please guide me on how to add the feature back?

Hi,We asked for athlete count increase around 4 weeks back, but haven’t heard back.The ask was to increase the limit to 10K.Did we ask for a too big limit to start? as I see most people here get 999 limit.Can someone help us in expedite this, as this is blocking out our feature release which we have committed based on the timeline (7-10 days) which was shared with us. We are fine by 999 limit as well to get started.

Hello Community, I have been trying to get Strava to respond to athlete limit increases since October, submitted the form multiple times and have never got a response. Is Strava going under? Should we be selling our stock? What is going on, it seems like no one is working there? Has anyone had any luck getting past the 1 athlete limit for new apps in the past 6 months?Thanks!

I had had them connected before but now they are not connected and I can not find anywhere in Suunto app to connect with Strava (android).I see online to do the following: select Settings > Account > Connect to other services.Anyone experiencing the same issues?Thanks!!

HelloFor the personnal heat map, we have the option to click and show home-work routes. But it’s not possible for the global mondial heat map. Exemple for Belgium, there is a large area whitout any electric bike… but in my case i use it only for “home-work routes”, not for leisure i mean. And so my moves are not visible on the global map as you can see the picture below.Is it possible to have also in the settings of the global world map the possibility to add these home-work routes and have really all the moves of Strava?Thank you

More activities on the Apple Watch now support maps in watchOS11 (such as paddling) Is there a way to force strava to bring the map across when it imports from Apple health, as it does with running/walking/cycling/open water swimming (etc…)?I know I could use the strava app, but I like having the deeper integrated health metrics with using Apple workouts

After I save a route on my web account,   I am unable to find any the saved routes on the iPhone app. Where are my saved routes in the iPhone app?

Good morning, For the past week my iPhone Strava widget has not been updating with correct mileage. I assume this is a known issue based on what I’ve read on Reddit, but didn’t see a topic from 2024 on this topic. I’ve tried removing and re-adding the widget to no avail. 

I would like to retrieve public data from Strava API but I can’t obtain scope : activity:read. Is there any way to proceed ?

I’m using the app to track my walks this year, I don’t run. I went to my statistics and they are empty, it seems you only offer statistics for running and cycling? Is there a place where walkers can simply see how far they’ve walked so far this year? 

Does anyone know how to delete/reset the Strava - Peloton integration? We learned the hard way that Peloton does not validate emails during their setup process.  So we bought a bike, thought we logged into my wife’s correct Peloton account on the bike screen (but mispelled her email), then integrated with Strava.   Later we realized we had the wrong (inaccessible) Peloton account and corrected that, but now cannot connect the correct Peloton account with her Strava account because Strava returns an error that there is already a Peloton account associated with that Strava account.  We cannot “deactivate” the integration from the Peloton end because that email does not actually exist (and the Peloton account deleted.) We have repeatedly tried to get support from Strava, but they just keep replying to our ticket with responses about how to change our STRAVA email, not understanding that we are trying to reset/delete the Strava/Peloton integration to start over. We can “deactivate” the cur

Yesterday (14/01/2025), I could make requests to the Strava API without any problems. I have a galaxy fit 3, it syncs to strava through samsung health. But my heart rate data from every workout only shows in samsung health app and not strava although the activity spears in strava. How to I make my heart rate data appear in strava?
