If i Ride up a dirt road with my bike and register it as an Ride, will it be on the same segments on that road that if I had registered it as a gravel ride or a mountainbike ride? Or is it different segments for all 3?

I used to love Strava media upload flow. Crystal clear, not questions. I loved the fact that it was possible to preview a picture just by having a prolonged press on it.What was not my surprise today when I tried the updated media upload flow… It felt like an effort to simply upload a pic!It seriously makes me wonder if Strava is testing any of their latest features. The past weeks have been an absolute nightmare. I’m a paying subscriber and I’m seriously considering cancelling my subscription. It feels like everything I liked in the app is being torn into pieces.

Is anyone having problems with swim data transfer, from watch to Strava? I have a Suunto vertical and the swim data has started posting massively inflated times, thousands of hours per swim. This hasn't previously been an issue. 

Strava App in my samsung galaxy watch 6 stops the activities like pilates, weight training at around ten mins by itself.

When I view an activity - either mine or a followers - I can see a map displayed with the route. But if I click on the map in order to look at details, the map disappears. I am just left with a trace of the route, on a white background. I'm using the Strava app on an Android phone - Samsung S18.This has been happening for approx 1 week. I have tried deleting and reinstalling app but problem persists. Any help please?

I just finished a race, and was tracking my progress both in Strava (via my phone) and Apple Watch. Upon finishing the workout, the one in Strava uploaded automatically and I only added the one from Apple Watch an hour later. I decided to keep the Apple Watch version as it included my heart rate data, so I deleted the Strava version. However, all of my PR and segment achievements were assigned to the Strava version!I’ve used the “Refresh Activity Achievements” tool in the activity menu, but to no effect. My PR is still listed as a second-best effort. I was able to successfully update the All-Time PR section, but not in the individual activity. Any ideas?

I have always been able to post emojis on my free Strava account activities. However, the option to do so has disappeared. Is it possible to restore this?

The time of workouts uploaded from the Dafit app is doubled in Strava. The distance is accurate. What could be causing this?

I had the AI analysis, then it suddenly went away. In other posts I’ve read, it seems like I need to ask support to turn it back on, so how can I do that?

I am not showing the avalanche shaping or slope angle map layers in my account despite having a premium subscription. I’ve also removed and redownloaded the app. How can I get access to these features?

Hi I brought a new phone, went to sign into my normal account, but it seems like I’ve forgot the email and password. And also don’t have access to the email I created the account with.  i have the Strava ID that’s all I seem to have. Also if I view my account from another strava account it has removed my profile picture.  I have an active Strava plus’s subscription on this account so really want to use it  I put a request in via Strava support but the ticket just gets closed as soon as I send it.  please help James

I am unable to sync Samsung Health to Strava - Galaxy Watch 7The workout does contain GPS data.I have enabled the Strava Setting in Samsung HealthI have reinstalled the app multiple times.When I follow the instructions on the Strava app which takes me to a browser page with instructions(which I follow) and takes me back it says: “There was an error connecting your device”I used to have the same issue on my previous phone and also when I used an Amazfit device(Thought it was just cause it was a cheap badly supported device)Could it be an issue with my account? 

I ride an e-bike and I often see motorbike rides recorded as an e-bike ride.  They have ridiculous speeds (above 100 km/h) and lead all segments and I'm getting tired of flagging them. It would be great if these were cleaned up automatically based on maximum speed. Thanks.

Bonjour, j’ai créé mon compte Strava en me connectant avec mon compte Apple sur mon iPhone. Une adresse mail a été créé mais il ne s’agit pas de mon adresse mail personnelle,.. Il s’agit d’une adresse fictive créé par Apple lors de la connexion. de se fait l’application. Decathlon ne synchronise pas mes activités, car ce n’est pas le même mail.. Je n’arrive pas à modifier mon mail sur mon compte car un peu ma connexion il s’agit d’une connexion avec Face ID.. Pouvez-vous mon adresse mail sur mon compte Strava? Par avance merci

I can get TCX for routes but can’t find a way to get the file for activities.I can get it easily using this way : https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216918437-Exporting-your-Data-and-Bulk-Export#h_01GDP2C5E3278KM8MPK5X49ED3 “This is a little-known trick, however, it's simple to use.  Simply add "/export_tcx" - without quotes - to the end of your activity page URL. For example, if your activity page is www.strava.com/activities/2865391236 - just add the text to give you  www.strava.com/activities/2865391236/export_tcx and hit enter. This will download a TCX version of your file to the location specified by your browser's preferences” But no luck with API.Can anyone help?

Our bicycle club has authored a command line tool that connects to the Strava API to download an athletes ride data so we can establish metrics for ride difficulty in our region. However we just realized it won’t work because the number of athletes allowed to connect is only 1. To increase the limit we have to submit an application review form. However we just noticed the Strava API Agreement demands the app have some sort of GUI (Graphical User Interface) so that logos can be displayed. But a command line tool can’t display logos. Does that mean command line tools are prohibited from using the API? How do we get around this problem? 

I’m exporting my Strava activities to a CSV with a Python script and for some reason, everything shows up perfectly except for the calories burnt. My weight is entered on Strava and I have tried a few different scripts but to no avail. Calories just don’t show up on my CSV no matter how I write, even though they do appear on my profile. Has anyone else encountered this? I looked up online but couldn't find anything, I don’t know if it’s a Strava issue or I just can’t seem to find the right script to write. Thanks!
