Hello, I have an application that is used to upload gpx to strava from usb cable connected devices,it can also view activities general details - mostly track and map. It does not duplicate any strava functionality besides uploading gpx via API. It is a desktop app with 1 user only using his own api-application. I was autidted by the team, i got all the required stuff in the app (logos, strava promotion, links to activities ‘view on strava’ etc) and I got all the blessings, plus request limits set for the app. I am happy with that. But my question is - if I make the app public, and some people will download it and use as their private api applications, will that be a concern for me, or just they need to setup their api-app and use it. It is a one-user desktop app. Hope it sounds reasonable ;) if not I can give more details to strava team. 

Hello Strava,I've been trying to rename my gear for quite some time now. Specifically, I just want to change it from lowercase to uppercase letters — from ASICS gel-nimbus to ASICS Gel-Nimbus. However, when I save it, it reverts back to the name with lowercase letters. I assume this must be a bug. Or am I doing something wrong?Thank you for your feedback.

Latest version of Strava on Samsung S24 and Samsung Watch Ultra.Today was my first cycle commute of the new year and first since getting the watch. Reviewing my e-bike ride, kCal is available on my watch, only. It doesn’t appear anywhere for that activity on my phone, or on the website on desktop. Instead, I’m getting a new stat about “carbon saved”, which is meaningless - Strava doesn’t know if I normally walk to work, get a train, or bus, or drive an electric car or a gas-guzzling panzerwagen.Can you add back the actually useful and meaningful ‘calories’ stat to the phone and website interfaces, please?

I have been looking into some 3D views of routes after activity (replay 3D thingy) and found it rather dry, gets boring after a while. I was watching some cycling greats routs (cough Pogacar cough) at 150+km, therefore have some suggestions:Include compass at the bottom of the map, this will help orientation, either with true north or with reference to a landmark or the destination or the goal. Consider including a mini map of the entire route (again, at the bottom), this will help keep track of the bigger picture When an athlete enters a segment, show a pop-up (a bubble of some sort) of the current segment KOM (or best time or whichever applicable) comparing directly to the athlete. This way, you can track where the athlete had gains or slowdowns for future improvements.

Suddenly my Garmin ride does not automatically upload to my Strava activities.I see the ride in Garmin Connect on my  iPhone. Strava account states Garmin is connected. I deleted the Strava app and reinstalled and logged in.I am a paid subscriber.I am at a loss. 

I’ve already submitted a ticket, so just waiting on that, but figured I would mention this in case others are seeing anything similar or had other ideas.I ran into an interesting situation this morning when skimming through some segments I like to keep tabs on.  I have had the KOM on this one since June of 2021.  Everything looked fine the last time I checked earlier this week, but when I looked today, I was not listed in the “top times” section on the top right of the page.   When I scrolled down to see the leaderboard, I saw my time from June was still showing in the 1st spot on the list, but I also had another entry down in 10th (my 2nd fastest time on the segment), so I was actually showing on the leaderboard in two spots at the same time.  My first place time was not registering as the KOM.  I opened that specific activity file from June 2021 and nothing there showed anything wrong.  No flags, no suspicious tagging from auto-detection.  I then checked my KOM list on

I'd like to see a time to distance overlap in my progress overview, for running specifically. By day like in the weekly scale, maybe moving minutes with the distance? For a quick visual. I'd like to see that in my progress files, for looking back onto.Just as a female, information I'm currently collecting is to see what weeks I am strongest and then comparatively weaker requiring rest.Where does my endurance improvements meet my fatigue limits. If I was smarter, I could word this better, but I'm not so I run for fun. 

I have had my Strava account for years. I have recently lost access to the email address registered to my account and so I have been using Face ID to log in.  How can I change the email address connected to my account so that all of the workouts I complete across different devices can sync? I have spent hours trying and it’s just not working. Please help!!! 

For a segment I created, it shows my PR as being 5:37, but under the Overall All Time Leaderboard, my best time is shown as 6:15, it does not show my PR there...its not the first time, but does not occur on all segments...

Hi Team! It looks like I accidentally turned off the .Ai analytics feature. Is there a way to switch it back on?

With the recent attempts to ‘clean up’ segments I can understand the deletion of duplicates. However many quite normal and popular segments have just disappeared. And yet there are still flagged segments on my desktop feed. Why aren’t all flagged segments immediately removed in one overnight purge, and any segment not ridden in 5 years [this would remove most bad GPS segments, and old abandoned training route.] Perhaps give people the chance to nominate segments for deletion or renaming rights.

I think my stats are either wrong or just missing things. My all time longest ride says 50 miles but that is not correct. I have a 100 virtual mile ride that when I go to the actual ride says it’s my longest ride but is not showing up in stats. This all makes me curious if my entire stats are off or not being tallied correctly     

I’d like a business page like FB does or YT where i can have multiple pages.I want to connect with my customers and share my rides WITHOUT disclosing my person name and account. Keeping the Hidden areas like my house and close friends.Is there a business page for Strava and can it mirror my rides under my business name? Auto sync..

Hello, i encountered problem with strava that it stoped showing statistics in my profile. It all worked last year perfectly but this season after doing some workounts arround 200km i can’t see any of my stats in profile. Here is picture attached of blank spots. Statistics is empty in my profile  but in others profiles i shows everything. Any solution to this issue ?Thanks. 

I'm writing software that controls my treadmill. The idea is that I can run any run in the world, and the treadmill responds to the gpx data coming in and is doing all climbs as if it were the real world.At the end of a run, I want to upload my activity to Strava. And that is the point in which I get stuck….Using the client id, client secret I'm able to get a bearer token. This token has read permissions.  In order to write to an activity I need write permissions.  I cant figure out how I can exchange the bearer token for an authorization token that authorizes me to write data to the activity. Can anyone help me?     

Hi,We asked for athlete count increase around 4 weeks back, but haven’t heard back.The ask was to increase the limit to 10K.Did we ask for a too big limit to start? as I see most people here get 999 limit.Can someone help us in expedite this, as this is blocking out our feature release which we have committed based on the timeline (7-10 days) which was shared with us. We are fine by 999 limit as well to get started.

I created a club to invite some friends to. My whole purpose for doing so was so that we could do challenges. How do I do this? 

Strava map view with segments filtered to “starred” is not showing anything (I have only a few of them). (Regardless if these segments are public or private.)Actually any filter except “All” does not show anything...  

I’ve done 3 walks this week but only 1 is showing the distance covered and 2 haven’t logged towards my weekly total - is this fixable?All were tracked through my Apple Watch 8  

Hello,I am student of high school and i got an idea to create webpage for the students of school and basicly create competition between the classes, which class will have run most km or on bike, or hiking in some period of time. For example in January had class “name of the class” run most km, so they won. The problem is that in my API application “the number of allowed athletes” is just one, and if I understand it correctly, i should send mail to strava so they will change it, right? So I wanted to ask if its not useless to send the mail considering the whole idea, if it makes sense? If its not just waste of time. Also I ve seen some information about data privacy, and what i wanted to do, was to display data of the activites that the users have done and also the data of the class as whole. So display who have how much kilometers run or cycled, and then which class has how much run and cycled. I dont know if its not problem considering the rules of strava API a

When I record a workout on Hevy it tracks Kcal burned.When I finish the Workout and it saves.This data is implemented into Apple Health but does not sync to Strava.

My Strava activities on my phone used to default to displaying distance, elevation gain, time, average speed, and MAX SPEED, but at some point with no warning or explanation it stopped displaying Max Speed and instead shows calories.I have friends whose activity feeds still default to show both avg and max speed, while others show calories -- but nobody knows how or why that changed, and nobody knows how to change it.Sure, I can click "view analysis" to see my Max Speed, but I don't want to do that. I want my activity feed to automatically display Max Speed. WHO CARES about calories (which of all the stats on Strava is basically a total joke & super inaccurate, anyway!)?HOW can I change that? Strava does it for some people already (and used to do it for me), soooooo it's obviously possible. But I can't find any info anywhere!
