API: SummarySegment documentation

The documentation for SummarySeĝment states that activity_type can be either Run or Ride. But the actual return value can also be other activity types, so it probably would have to be an instance of ActivityType.

Best efforts

I'm sure the new feature called best efforts is helpful to many users.  However, I am a para-athlete and am unable to run.  That being the case, I have no information showing in best efforts despite the fact that I workout with my handcycle 5-6 days a week. Is there any way to change what category the best efforts displays.

Unable to post activities

Overnight we've seen 100% failure of the /api/v3/uploads endpoint. A post to that route returns the following raw HTML. However, the Strava status page says things are 100% operational?

Monthly Recap Email

I have seen friends and family that get a strava monthly recap email on the 5th of the next month that gives stats and info about what they did. I do not get this email and it’s not going to spam or anything. I checked email preferences and I have everything on. What can I do?

Substituting ClubAthlete and ClubActivity by SummaryAthlete and SummaryActivity

After working for some time with the API, I'm wondering if this is something feasible. The SummaryXXX model looks not only more complete but usable (as they both include identifiers).In case this is not possible, or causes some sort of breaking change, it would be nice to have info, such as identifiers, gear used, activity stats, etc. on the ClubXXX models.Thanks in advance.

My Photos (Media) and that of followers has stopped showing

Hello, on all activities of mine and those of followers I now have white grid squares instead of photos of the actual activity.  I have logged in and out of strava app and in and out on my phone. is there a solution to this? Thanks!

My mobile strava app is not syncing with the strava website

The acitivties that I record via my Strava app are not synced with the Strava website (only my bike ride of last week) the fitness activity and walking activities are not synced. This also causes troubles with the connection to Garmin.Does anyone know this problem and found a solution yet?

I had to reset my phone and i forgot my account to login. I found my monthly payment in my google account but when i try to log in its a new account? I would be happy if i get my old account back. All my activities or on that.

location_city and location_state as null

Hello.I noticed this evening, when downloading my data using Strava API (through Postman), that the location_city and location_state parameters are set to 'null'.As I have given my token full access, I get also the detailled info for the segments, and there, the city and state parameters are set properlyI am fairly certain that it was not the case before, so I' m wondering if something has changed.Thank you.

Toggle Route Visibility / Hide Route Hotkey M

In Strava Routeplanner (which STILL is not available on mobile..), there seems to be no way to temporarilly hide the planned route to see the features underneath. This needs to be added. This is almost standard practice by now if you look e.g. at Komoot or BRouter Web which both use "M" as a hotkey to temporarilly hide the route while the key is pressed.

How often surface type gets an update?

Hi,From what I've read you are using Mapbox as the company to provide mapping and they are using OSM for surface types. I would like to ask you how often do you update your surface types in Strava Routes? I'm asking because I wonder if it's worth editing surfaces in my neighborhood so it's visible for everyone in Strava Routes. Sometimes it's quite annyoing when drawing a route, riding it and after that someones says that you could go nicer path somewhere because it is smooth tarmac and on the Routes it was marked as dirt..Cheers,Filip

App not saving map type or commute tag

I've already contacted Strava support about this issue but got nowhere.The the past couple of months the app (android , and yes already uninstalled and reinstalled and still have same issue) randomly will not save map type or commute tag, it will just save as a standard ride.So this morning whilst saving my commute ride I notice is I choose ride as commute and then set map type the app removes commute option, so I then reset ride as commute but app then removed map type choice?? Anyone else having this issue? Tom

dual subscription

 Hello,I have a problem with my subscription.I currently have 2 subscriptions and I would like to cancel the one without the trial period and get my money back at the same time. I took out the subscription with the trial period first, but it didn't work, so I had to do it a 2nd time.In addition, I opened ticket #2693699 which was closed without any response.Please solve this problem

Webhooks security

According to the current Webhooks Events API documentation, only the client authenticates to Strava upon subscription registration/check, with the API client_id and client_secret.This is great but IMO insufficent, as both parties should somehow be authenticated. In other words, Strava should authenticate with the Webhook suscriptor. The way is done at the moment, an attacker could impersonate Strava's API sending fake event data to the client's endpoint. The only way the client could defend from this would be checking whether if the subscription ID matches or not. But this is neither proposed as a security measure in the documentation site, or implicit within the process (it's something that the clients would need to implement ad-hoc). Moreover, since the subscription_id field is integer, it could be pretty easy for an attacker to guess the right value.Is there any other way of dealing with this that you could suggest?Thanks in advance.

Fitness scores don't match - Android vs PC

My phone app says my fitness is 63; my PC says it's 56. I not as interested in the absolute numbers (just the trends), I'm just surprised they don't match.On my PC the data goes back to Jan 2016 but the phone only displays back two years. Even at two years ago, the fitness numbers are different. In 2016, I was simply riding and had no power meter or smart trainer. Starting in Nov 2017, I had a smart trainer and in May this year I bought power meters. I've been using a HRM the entire time.I do understand the smart trainer and power meters will make a difference - measuring real power output vs. estimated numbers. But shouldn't this all be consistent across the two platforms?

Why does not live downhill segments work?

I wonder why any segments with the slightest negative grade does not work on live segments? I understand steep segments for safety, but I like to bike several segments that are quite long but with 0-5% negative grade. They are a bit up and down, but no steep or dangerous parts. None of these work with live segments because of the descent, but I can't understand why. I believe it used to work a while ago.

Club activities limited to the last 200, and no dates or activity IDs

I am on the committe of a running club and we wanted to use the API to track our athletes and give recognition, awards etc.  However, the API /clubs/{id}/activities returns a maximum of 200 activities for me - can this be changed?In addition, the activities have no date or activity ID, which meens I can't analyse (for example, most runs or highest distance in a period).I have the rights to see this detail - it's visible in the app or website - how can I get it through the API?ThanksPeter

Mobile feed display issues depending on screen resolution

Most of the information on my mobile feed started not to show since 1 or 2 months. Distance, pace, elevation gain, achievements, description areas dont show on my phone which has full HD resolution but these fields are visible perfectly on my WQHD resolution phone. This problem started to occure after an update 1 or 2 months ago. Before that i had no issue with these fields on FHD display phone. Attached is the 2 different screen shots taken from my 2 different devices.
