I'm experiencing a recurring issue on the Strava mobile app (Android). When I tap into an activity—either my own or someone else's—the map sometimes fails to display. This doesn’t happen every time, but often enough to be noticeable. If I exit the activity view and re-enter, the map typically loads properly on the second attempt.Device info: Phone model: Pixel 7 Android 15 Strava app version: 409.9 Additional notes: Issue occurs on both Wi-Fi and mobile data. No error message appears; the map section is simply not shown. Slide down with finger doesn’t work. Reproducing it is inconsistent, but it happens roughly [5]% of the time. See attachments. You’ll notice the one that doesn’t show the map doesn’t have the down arrow in the top left, so it’s not available to swipe down to reveal the map.

In December I noticed I couldn’t view, edit or create routes in the broswer (I tried them all). My routes still appear on the strava app. This is one of the main reasons I pay for Strava.When I try to create a route in browser I get the following error message…“Error: Sorry, we couldn’t complete that action. Please try plotting the point again.This can occur when routing across large distances, so try plotting more frequent waypoints that are closer together.”I’ve tried to create a ticket but it is still unanswered since December - I got a few emails saying they would be slow to reply but nothing more.Am I missing something or is this just how Strava is now?

Perhaps this is user error, but if not….very confusing Ux: If I click “Run” on a different shoe, and then go back to this shoe, its unchecked. I had no idea that this checkbox was how I decide which shoe Strava chooses when I finish a run. Each gear category should have an order of preference for that piece of gear, not a “Default Sports” checkbox that puts a piece of gear at the top of the list for a given category. Anybody who uses this app enough to pay for it almost certainly has different shoes for each of these categories.  Or am missing something? 

The options to delete or edit a route seem to be missing from all the routes on my account. It doesn’t matter if I originally created the route, or duplicated it. The age of the route also appears to have no bearing. Rides that are public appear to show an option to Embed, but are also missing the edit/delete options.

So, basically, i can't delete or edit my routes… On my browser, i don't see any option to edit or delete a route. On the “My Routes” page and in the route specific page, there's no option do edit or delete:I also can't see the famous “spanner” icon that is supposed to show when i hover my mouse over the map. On mobile (Strava 410.11 on Android 14) there is a bug where “My Routes” is just empty: Anybody have any of this bug and could solve it in some way?

The activities.csv file included in Strava’s bulk account export does not have a field for an activity's visibility settings (i.e., whether the activity is visible to Everyone, Followers, or Just Me). Along similar lines, the archive is also missing per-activity map visibility settings (e.g., if the start/ends are hidden). That makes it impossible to maintain privacy when sharing data in bulk across services.I propose that Strava add these fields to the archive that’s produced when exporting data.

Via 'kaarten' heb ik een keer een eigen route samengesteld. Ik zie deze nergens terug. Wanneer ik een route loop die  grotendeels overeenkomt met deze eerder ingestelde route,  krijg ik steeds te horen dat ik van de ingestelde route ben afgeweken. Of het bericht dat ik weer terug ben op de route. Ik weet niet hoe ik deze melding tijdens het lopen kan verwijderen? Groet.  Peerke.

I've noticed that the "Edit” option is not available anymore when I try to edit any of my own routes (not activities) in the "My routes” section. Only the "Embed” and "Duplicate” options are available.Is this a bug? The workaround is to duplicate your route and then edit it. But in this case you'll have to go and delete the "original" route manually.Please, let us know if this is a temporary issue or the "Edit” feature is gone forever...

Has the web version been updated recently? Has anyone else experienced this issue? Thanks!

The last changes to Strava Routs management are not the best one - Routs can`t be deleted or edited without been duplicated - is absolutely inconvenient when you creating routs and then try to make some changes or when you share a rout with friends and the only way to make changes is to duplicate it. It turns out in a mess of useless routes been saved.What other users think about it?

The map only mode added a smart feature today that gives you suggested routes. It seems cool and I may use it, but it disrupts how I use the map. When I'm out on a ride, I look at the map only mode with global heat map to see where others have gone and choose my path from that. The new create route feature covers the map and shows one possible route at a time, sometimes zooming out. I can't find where to turn off the feature so I can just use the map as normal. Please help!

As could be seen from the screenshot, the route reverse function does not work properly. In the past there would be no issues. This make the modification much difficult and complicated when dealing with sophisticated routes. This does not happen just once but I just found this recently. Strava route making used to work well but seems not anymore. Is it the right time to change to Komoot? 

Golf Activity Update Request: add an option button for “walking” or “golf cart”. Obvious reasons, walking would track steps, mileage, correct pace, etc. and golf cart would just track duration. Maybe this would be an easy fix for incorrect pace. (see below), would this be considered a bug or incorrect data tracking? 

I’m currently unable to access my paid subscription account. When attempting to login to Strava, it connects me to an old account that I do not use. If I try to login through apple or Facebook, it wants me to create a new account connected to my Facebook.I’ve submitted several support tickets over the last four days, but cannot get a response. 

Hi all is there a way to review a segment PB time against other rides I have done over that segment. Trying to find out where I am gaining and losing time over a specific segment. 

My activities have stopped posting my time on the feed view in my profile. I can tell the time is uploading, because when I click into any individual activity I can see the time, and it seems like it’s counting towards my weekly totals and such. But I can’t see it on the feed view next to distance any pace. Any idea why this is happening, or how I can get my activity times back?

Hi, In roughly the past week, my Apple Watch has stopped recording Heart Rate data for activities. I’ve tried all the recommended fixes:restarting Apple watch checking health settings (correct, nothing has changed on that front) re-installing app recording different types of workouts disabling low power mode on workoutThe watch itself is recording heart rate perfectly fine, and the Strava watch app is recording GPS data fine. When I finish a workout, it simply says Average heart is 0. What could be going on?  

Hey, I've lost the connection between my inspire 3 and Strava after updating it. I tested to long in, out of Fitbit and Strava app and restart inspire 3 and cellphone! Still no solved!

It looks like there has been a change introduced in how the pace is being displayed for running activities. Before the change, the pace for splits would be shown as moving pace (i.e. ignoring for example pauses at traffic lights). Now, any pause is reflected in the pace, resulting in uneven outcome. When I checked my recent runs, I saw that an October 5 run was still recorded as expected, but next run from October 7 and all runs since then have the splits pace all over the place. 🫤Is this a bug or an intentional change?(Recording my runs with the native Apple Watch Workout app and importing from Apple Health to Strava via the iOS Strava app.)

Hey guys, I rode down skyline queenstown early this year. On one of the days a trail that I rode which may be really new does not have a name on it. It clearly shows on the map but no name. Is there any way to name this trail at all?

After each ride my Garmin Edge automatically uploads the ride to my Strava account where I add a couple of photos, edit the title, add some notes; all done via a web browser. Then later a duplicate of the ride appears on my account with a generic name (e.g.morning ride). Both rides are under my name. It appears I am a member of a Group (consisting of me and..., well,  me). I select Leave Group but after my next ride I have to go through the process once again. How did I start a Group? How did I join my own Group? More importantly, how can I prevent further duplication? Thank you. 

Hi everyone,I'm trying to share an activity overview, but the link sends me to a strava login/registration page.There's also this message: "This activity cannot be found. It has been deleted or is private".I checked my privacy settings: activities are for everyone and Flyby, too.The map is not hidden.When I try to share the map instead of flyover, I get this message: "Impossible to find the requested activity".What's wrong?Thanks for helping.

My total stats is not changing for my followers. It’s stuck on 100 km, when the correct total is something else. I am wondering if it stoped updating after changing privacy settings to “only followers”. Tried to change them back to “everyone”, but it still has not updated to correct stats.. Anyone?
